Heather Graham hated filming THAT n-ked scene

Heather Graham has spoken candidly about her first n^de scene in the 1997 Paul Thomas Anderson film, “Boogie Nights.” Though she was nervous about the full-frontal scene, Graham had reached a point in her career where she felt she couldn’t be picky.

“That was my first time, and I was so nervous about it — but at that point in my career I was also like, ‘Beggars can’t be choosers,’” she told Yahoo!.

Despite her trepidation, Graham enjoyed working with Anderson on the film.

“It was a great script and Paul [Thomas Anderson] was an amazing talent,” she said.

“I had a great time making that movie even though it was terrifying doing a n^de scene.”

Mark Wahlberg, Graham’s co-star in the film, had to wear a prosthetic p-nis for his role as adult film star Dirk Diggler.

However, Graham noted that Wahlberg’s fake genitalia didn’t compare to her own n^de scene.

Graham played the p^rn star known as “Rollergirl” in the film, and for one scene, she strips down to nothing but skates.

She also had to learn how to roller skate for the role.

“It was a little bit terrifying, because there were all these cables around on set and you had to go around stairs and stuff.

The girl that was my stand-in bit it a couple of times! But I also felt like this kid just floating along,” Graham said.

Graham has been in the Hollywood industry since the mid-1980s, and she reflected on how the industry has evolved in the last 30 years.

She called some films from the yuppie decade “sexist” and expressed her appreciation for the progress Hollywood has made.

“Every phase of the business, whether it’s financing, distribution, the reviewers, all those people are mostly men,” she said.

“To get a female-driven story that is appealing mostly to women through all these levels of male-dominated business, it’s not that easy.”

Graham has often felt like a “supporting character in a man’s story” throughout her career.

“I wasn’t always going, ‘What do I want?’ I was going, ‘How do I people please someone else?’ My journey has been to get more clear on what I want and go after that,” she said.

However, she remains optimistic about the future of women in Hollywood.

“I’m glad that we are growing as a culture.”

Wahlberg still has the prosthetic p-nis from “Boogie Nights” and keeps it locked in a safe at home over 25 years after the film was made.

He joked on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last year that it wouldn’t be a good look if his kids found it.

“All of a sudden my kids are looking for a spare phone charger and pull that thing out and go, ‘What the heck is this?!’” he said.

Graham is currently starring in the faith-based drama “On a Wing and a Prayer” on Amazon Prime, in which she plays a woman who has lost her husband in a plane crash.

The film, which also stars Dennis Quaid, explores themes of grief and faith.

Graham has also appeared in films such as “Drugstore Cowboy” and “Swingers.” She got her start in Hollywood at the age of 14, opposite Diane Keaton and Mel Gibson in “Mrs. Soffel.”
