Harrison Ford and Talent Agency CEOs Roast Megan at CanLions Party

The CanLions International Festival of Creativity 2023 is just around the corner, set to take place from June 19th to the 23rd.

This highly esteemed event brings together the brightest creative minds from around the world, providing a platform for groundbreaking ideas and valuable networking opportunities.

As the anticipation builds, this year’s lineup of CanLions 2023 parties promises to be the biggest and most comprehensive yet.

Amongst the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry’s top producers and managers, an intriguing story unfolded at one of the grandest parties.

Surprisingly, Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, found herself in the midst of the conversation, despite not receiving an invitation.

However, her presence in the chat thread was far from positive.

In fact, she became the subject of criticism, with Harrison Ford branding her as talentless.

In an industry where finding genuinely talented individuals is paramount, being famous alone does not guarantee greatness.

This sentiment was echoed by Jeremy Zimmer, the CEO of United Talent Agency (UTA), who targeted Megan during a coffee conversation with Harrison Ford at Le Majestic, held during the CanLions advertising festival.

Zimmer emphasized that fame does not automatically equate to skill.

These discussions took place openly at the CanFilmFestival, a global event exclusively attended by industry insiders, dealmakers, distributors, and other influential figures.

Megan’s lack of talent was further emphasized by UTA, which represents renowned actors such as Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Susan Sarandon, Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Channing Tatum, Paul Giamatti, and Anthony Hopkins.

Jeremy Zimmer added that Megan Markle had not displayed any notable audio talent or any other form of talent for that matter.

The cancellation of her $20 million Spotify deal, attributed to the inability to meet expected listener numbers, only added fuel to the fire.

Moreover, Megan has faced accusations of using staff to conduct interviews for her Archetypes podcast series after Spotify terminated the deal.

This turn of events suggests that future deals may come with lower value and potentially focus less on visual or audio content produced by the Sussexes.

Harry and Megan cannot afford any more disappointments or cancellations.

They must uphold their commitments to produce high-quality and commercially viable content for any ongoing projects to establish themselves as reliable partners.

According to sources, Prince Harry had expressed a desire to interview figures such as Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump about their childhoods for a podcast.

Bloomberg reports that the former senior royal engaged with multiple producers and production houses regarding his ideas, including a concept centered around childhood trauma.

This particular show would feature the Prince interviewing a range of guests, including the Russian president, former US leader, and even Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, exploring how their early years shaped them into the adults they became.

Insiders also revealed that the Prince proposed a show on fatherhood and another that delved into different significant societal conversations in each episode.

Additionally, he expressed a hope to invite Pope Francis onto the podcast to discuss matters of religion.
