Halle Berry discussed her s-x scenes with teen daughter

Halle Berry, the Hollywood actress, has revealed that she had to have a conversation with her 13-year-old daughter, Nahla, about s^xuality after an early screening of her new movie, Bruised, which is now streaming on Netflix.

In the film, Berry plays a UFC fighter who has a s^xual encounter with both a man and a woman.

The movie features two love scenes, one with a man and the other with a woman.

The movie’s editor, who was sitting beside Berry and Nahla during the screening, wanted to check the color of the second love scene, which featured a woman.

Nahla was surprised to see the love scenes and demanded a conversation with her mother about love scenes and s^xuality.

Berry admitted that she wasn’t sure whether the screening was appropriate for her daughter, but she wanted Nahla to see what she had worked so hard on and why she had missed so much time with her.

Berry discussed the conversation she had with Nahla on the SmartLess podcast with fellow actors Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.

She said, “It started a conversation — really for the first time — about what I do and about playing characters and what’s real and what’s not real.”

Berry explained that Nahla was asking all sorts of questions about the love scenes including, “how do you do that? and how does it make you feel?” Berry explained to her daughter that love scenes are some of the hardest scenes that actors do, the most awkward, and it’s not always fun.

Berry had a real conversation with her daughter about her s^xuality, her work in the business, and how hard she had to fight to do the film.

During the podcast, Berry also shared that her daughter only saw the love scenes because the editor wanted to check the color during the early screening.

Berry also talked about another unique parenting experience when she home-schooled her two children during lockdown in 2020.

“I became so involved with my children in a whole new way,” she explained.

“I became a home-school teacher, and we had to find things to do within the house. Our creativity went to a higher level.”

One positive aspect of the enforced time together was a strengthening of their relationships.

“We became closer as a family,” Berry said.

“My children found ways to start getting along because they had to actually talk to each other. They were friends.”

Berry has previously spoken out on how she hopes to inspire her daughter through her work both on and off-screen.

“You know what it says to her? She can do anything she wants,” Berry says.

“And as a little girl, a little Black girl, a woman — a girl of color, she needs to see these images. She needs to realize that her mom can do anything she sets her mind to doing.”

Last year, Berry celebrated her daughter’s 13th birthday with a sweet throwback photo of the mother-daughter duo.

Berry also shared a glimpse into the moments in her life that matter the most to her, time spent with her children.

In April, the actor shared a sweet snapshot of herself with her son and daughter sitting on a beach. The trio sat huddled together facing the ocean in the candid image, which Berry captioned: “the moments that matter most…”

Berry has also emphasized the importance of self-defense, especially for women, and hopes to inspire her daughter to learn martial arts.

“She needs to understand that what she will have to do, and I’m going to require this, is she will have to learn some form of martial arts.

I’m adamant about especially women learning how to protect themselves. I think that’s key,” she said during the podcast.

The actress also talked about the challenges of filming Bruised, which is also her directorial debut.

She said it was the hardest thing she’s ever done in her entire life.

“Physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, every way you can imagine, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

But it was also the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done,” she added.

Bruised tells the story of a former MMA fighter named Jackie Justice who has fallen on hard times and tries to make a comeback in the ring while also reconnecting with her estranged son.

Berry trained intensively for six months to prepare for the role and even broke three ribs during filming.

Aside from her acting and directorial work, Berry is also an advocate for social justice issues.

She recently took part in a virtual town hall meeting organized by the Black Lives Matter movement, where she discussed systemic racism and police brutality in the US.

The actress also shared her thoughts on how the entertainment industry can improve diversity and representation, especially for people of color and underrepresented groups.

“We need to see more diversity in front of the camera, behind the camera, in the writing room, in the producer’s chair, in the director’s chair.

We need more stories that reflect the diversity of our world, and we need to empower those storytellers,” she said.

Despite the challenges and difficulties she has faced in her life and career, Berry remains optimistic and determined.

“I’m a fighter.

I’m a survivor.

I’m a person who believes in perseverance and the power of the human spirit.

And I will never give up,” she said.
