Gwyneth Paltrow strips and films herself in the shower

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has stripped off and filmed herself using her Goop Healthy Hair Starter Kit in the shower in a bid to promote the product.

The actress, who launched her lifestyle brand Goop in 2008, often uses herself as an advertisement for her products.

The Healthy Hair Starter Kit, which consists of a G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub shampoo and GOOPGLOW Restore + Shine hair serum, is currently on sale on the Goop website for $77, down from the original price of $110.

In the advert, Paltrow is seen lathering up in the shower, with wet hair and no make-up, as she rinses off the Goop product.

The actress has previously been criticised for promoting unusual products on the Goop website, such as the ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’ candle, which was originally priced at $75, and a $10,000 24-carat gold dildo.

Last week, Paltrow encouraged her 14.4 million social media followers to take part in her ‘Luxurious At-Home Spa Routine’, which included a cold plunge, hot tub, steam room, and sauna.

The five-step routine, which was listed in an article on the Goop website, cost a total of $839 before tax.

Despite her successful acting career, Paltrow has said that she has no regrets about stepping away from acting to focus on her lifestyle brand.

“I really don’t miss it all.

“I think I’m so lucky that I got to do it, and I’m sure I still will at some point,” she said in an interview.

“The team is always trying to get me to do a movie, but I really love what I do and I love how immediate it is and how… we’re able to create product out of thin air that we believe in so much.”

In addition to the Healthy Hair Starter Kit, the Goop website also sells a Wellness Jade Egg, which is designed to balance hormones and increase bladder control, and a variety of s** toys, including a $10,000 24-carat gold dildo.

The website has also promoted products such as a toothpaste squeezer and ‘s** dust’, which can be added to smoothies.

The website previously sold a jade egg that claimed to balance hormones and increase bladder control, though none of these claims were scientifically proven.

The egg is still available on the Goop website for $66.

The website has also promoted a vampire repellant spray, which promises to ‘banish bad vibes’.

Paltrow has continued to promote the brand and its products.

In the latest advert, she appeared makeup free and showcased her wet hair while using the Goop Healthy Hair Starter Kit in the shower.
