Gillian Anderson says she’s stopped wearing bras: ‘I don’t care’

Gillian Anderson has revealed that she no longer wears a bra, saying that she finds it too uncomfortable.

The 52-year-old actor made the admission during a Q&A with fans on Instagram Live. “I’m so lazy,” Anderson said when asked about her go-to lockdown outfit.

“I don’t wear a bra anymore. I can’t wear a bra. I can’t, no. I can’t.” She added: “I’m sorry, but I don’t care if… my breasts reach my belly button. I’m not wearing a bra anymore. It’s just too fucking uncomfortable.”

Many fans on Twitter celebrated Anderson’s aversion to underwire, with some even saying that they would like to adopt a bra-free lifestyle themselves.

However, others pointed out that not everyone has the luxury of being able to go without a bra, and that some women may feel uncomfortable or self-conscious without one.

As well as discussing her refusal to wear a bra, Anderson also revealed her go-to outfit during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I would wear comfortable black track pants and a black hoodie every day if I could,” she said. “It’s probably the same as my go-to out-of-lockdown outfit. I’m so lazy.”

Anderson is known for her role as Agent Dana Scully in the popular television series “The X-Files”, which ran from 1993 to 2002.

She has also starred in several other TV shows and movies, including “The Fall”, “Hannibal”, and “The Crown”.

In recent years, she has also gained recognition for her work as a writer and director.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Anderson grew up in London, England, where her parents were working as film-makers.

She studied at the University of Manchester, where she obtained a degree in English literature, before pursuing a career in acting.

She began her acting career on stage, before moving into television and film.

Over the course of her career, Anderson has won several awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

She has also been nominated for several other awards, including a BAFTA TV Award and a Critics’ Choice Television Award.

In addition to her acting career, Anderson is also involved in a number of charitable organizations.

She is a patron of the British Irish Association, an organization that promotes better understanding between the people of Britain and Ireland.

She is also a patron of the International Animal Rescue, a charity that works to protect and rescue animals from suffering around the world.

Despite her success as an actor, Anderson has faced challenges in her personal life. She has been married and divorced twice, and has three children from her previous relationships.

In recent years, she has been in a relationship with Peter Morgan, the creator of “The Crown”. The couple reportedly met while working on the show, and have been together since 2016.

Anderson is set to star in several upcoming projects, including the third season of “The Crown” and a new Netflix series called “Sex Education”.

She will also appear in the upcoming film “The French Dispatch”, which is set to be released in 2021.
