Gary Coleman overreacts after domestic violence allegation

Gary Coleman, known for his role as Arnold in the popular sitcom ‘Diff’rent Strokes’, was at the centre of a heated interview following allegations of domestic violence.

Despite being one of the highest-paid actors on ABC, Coleman’s career struggled to take off after the show ended and he began to make headlines for other reasons.

Coleman had over a dozen minor roles before he became a household name through ‘Diff’rent Strokes.’

The show tackled serious topics like alcoholism and incorporated the actor’s health issues into the series.

His catchphrase “What you talkin’ ’bout, Willis?”

became iconic.

After the show ended, Coleman made appearances on other TV shows but struggled to maintain the success he found earlier.

Several people reported seeing him get into more than one altercation with fans, including an incident in 1999 where he punched a persistent female fan who wanted an autograph.

Coleman also faced accusations of domestic violence from his wife, which he denied.

During an interview with an attorney, Coleman grew irritated when asked about the issue and eventually walked out.

He made it clear that there was no abuse in his house and that he did not care if people believed he abused his wife.

However, this was not the only incident involving the actor.

Molly Shannon shared a story about being alone in a hotel room with Coleman, where he allegedly made multiple unwanted s**ual advances.

She had to push him away and claimed he used their mutual agent to get alone time with her.

Tension between some of the stars on the set of ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ also began to arise in later seasons.

Co-star Todd Bridges mentioned how Coleman’s parents began to isolate him from the rest of the cast.

Coleman acted superior and was rude to others as a result.

One day, the two of them got into a verbal confrontation, slapping each other and not speaking to one another for a while after the altercation.

Coleman’s legacy as a child actor and his iconic catchphrase live on in popular culture, but his personal life was plagued with controversies.

Despite his struggles, Coleman remained a beloved figure for many fans of ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ and his other work.

It is important to note that domestic violence allegations must be taken seriously and should never be dismissed or ignored.

It is crucial to prioritize the safety and well-being of those who may be victims of abuse.
