Dakota Johnson, who appears in the film version of British author E.L. James’ s-xual novel Fifty Shades of Grey, claims she was not nervous during filming the steamy sequences.

According to Elle magazine, the actress, who portrays Anastasia Steele, said she was drawn to the project because of the connection between the main characters Steele and Christian Grey.

Johnson, who is the cover girl for the magazine’s March edition, said she isn’t scared to strip down for the next super s-xy part. “I don’t have any problem doing anything,” she says. “The secret is I have no shame.”

Despite the fact that “Fifty Shades of Grey” is notorious for its S&M and bondage, the young actress, 24, claimed it was the connection between the main characters – Steele and Christian Grey – that drew her in.

“Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the s-x scenes. I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down,” she said.

While most up-and-comers have no idea what they’re getting themselves into when they take on highly anticipated parts like this, Dakota has seen it all and reveals her own childhood tragedies as the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.

“I think people, especially the press, like to pick on children of famous people and I think that’s f—–g awful,” she said. “Things get made up. It’s so, so sad. And there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it as a 16-year-old. You’re like….Why? What did I do?”
