Emma Thompson blasts Hollywood for s** scene double standards after playing cougar who pays for romps with younger men

Emma Thompson, a 61-year-old actress, has slammed Hollywood for its double standards on s** scenes after playing the role of a cougar who pays for s** with younger men.

She recently spoke out about the unfair portrayal of women and their enjoyment towards getting intimate on screen.

Her recent comments were most likely inspired by her upcoming role in the movie Good Luck To You, Leo Grande.

In this film, Emma plays Nancy Stokes, a 55-year-old woman looking for some good s** who decides to pay a younger man to satisfy her needs.

During a recent chat on CultureBlast podcast, she reflected on her character, saying, “Now I’ve never heard a woman say that on screen.

With men, it’s completely acceptable…”

Emma went on to compare how male characters can get away with sleeping with someone younger than them, but it’s not as acceptable for female characters.

She explained, “It’s completely acceptable for George Clooney – who is delightful – to have someone who is 40 years younger than him or 30 years younger than him.

If I have someone playing opposite me in a romantic way, they have to exhume someone because I’m 61 now.

Do you see what I mean?

It’s completely and utterly unbalanced.”

The upcoming comedy film, based on an original screenplay by Katy Brand, will start production in London early next year.

Good Luck To You, Leo Grande will be directed by Sophie Hyde and produced by Sophie Gray.

The movie aims to explore female sexuality in a new light and hopefully break boundaries.

Sophie Hyde, the director, expressed her excitement about working with Emma Thompson and exploring intimacy and desire.

The film will showcase a relationship that feels unexpected, delightful, funny, s**y, and moving.

At a time when our need for each other is so vividly present, it will be a delight to create and show this connection between two people.

Emma Thompson’s comments highlight the ongoing problem of double standards in Hollywood and how they affect the portrayal of women on screen.

Despite the progress, there is still much work to be done to achieve gender equality in the film industry.

The movie Good Luck To You, Leo Grande is a step in the right direction, and we hope it will inspire future projects that showcase female sexuality in a more positive light.
