Elon Musk jokes about Bill Gates’ affair
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has a tradition of being vocal on social media. Many on Twitter have been entertained by his sly jab at Bill Gates, who recently blasted Mr Musk for his remarks on the coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates addressed the widespread misinformation regarding the coronavirus. Mr. Gates addressed Elon Musk’s controversial remarks about the pandemic, advising him to stick to what he understands best.
According to The Atlantic, Mr Musk had previously downplayed the virus’s risks, implying that COVID-19 fatalities may have been exaggerated and that lockdowns were unnecessary. His remarks drew wrath of social media.
In response to the divisive remarks, Mr Gates told CNBC, “Elon’s positioning is to maintain a high level of outrageous comments,” “He’s not much involved in vaccines. He makes a great electric car. And his rockets work well. So he’s allowed to say these things. I hope that he doesn’t confuse areas he’s not involved in too much.”
Elon Musk replied to the remark with a funny tweet. He posted on Twitter, “The rumor that Bill Gates & I are lovers is completely untrue.”
