Ellen DeGeneres spotted mask-less After Positive Coronavirus Diagnosis
Nine days after her coronavirus diagnosis, Ellen DeGeneres had a phone conversation while wearing her face mask off in an outside parking lot. Ellen’s publicist provided an update on the talk show host’s quarantine status to HollywoodLife.
The talk show host was seen wearing her mask around her neck so she could talk to the phone more clearly. She was later observed wearing it on her way home from a nearby store.
As no one was spotted standing close, reports said it happened while she was shopping in Montecito, California.
Ellen has finished quarantining and is being tested on a regular basis, a rep confirmed to HollywoodLife on Dec. 21. The CDC, on the other hand, advises Americans to “wear a mask in public settings when around people who don’t live in your household.”
“I’m feeling %, I feel really good,” Ellen said in a video update shot by her wife Portia de Rossi after she tested positive for the virus.

Ellen went on to say that the one symptom she’s been having that no one has mentioned is back discomfort.
“Didn’t know that was a symptom, but I talked to some other people — back pain. Who knew? How come?” she asked.
After returning to the studio to shoot her talk show in September, Ellen has decided to take a break from The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the Christmas season. According to a report from Deadline in August, Season 21 premiered on Sept. 21 after former executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, as well as co-executive producer Jonathan Norman, were reportedly fired from the show and replaced by Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner, and Derek Westervelt. The current season has featured numerous famous guests in the studio, including Justin Bieber, as well as video chats with talents like Chance The Rapper and Aubrey Plaza.
Following her test results, one of Ellen’s recent guests on her talk program stated that she was distancing herself from her family.
In July, The Ellen DeGeneres Show undertook an internal inquiry into accusations of a hostile work environment, which led to the show’s leadership change. In August, a source close to Ellen told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that she was “upset” and “interested in righting a wrong,” adding, “She doesn’t want to be remembered for this, as she has been such a champion for so many good causes. She knows she has to ride this wave and make people trust her again and she is up for the fight.”
