Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley made headlines recently after posting photos on Instagram where she forgot to wear her bikini top.

The 55-year-old posed in a snowy landscape, wearing nothing but a string bikini bottom from her swimwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, and an open furry coat.

She captioned the post with, “How could I resist?”

The former “Gossip Girl” actress left little to the imagination, with her abs and cleavage on full display.

Fans took to the comments section to praise Hurley for her fit physique.

One person wrote, “I’ve been crushing on you since the 90s when I was a teenager; you’re still hot as f–k now I’m 37.”

Another fan added, “Well, I must say this is a pleasant and most welcome surprise opening Instagram.”

However, not everyone was impressed with the photos.

Some slammed them as inappropriate, with one troll commenting, “So desperate,” and another saying, “My son is the same age as yours.

Hurley later revealed that her 80-year-old mother was the photographer behind the risqué shots.

She tweeted, “Far be it for me to suggest the tabloids get their facts muddled, but these pics were, in fact, taken by my 80-year-old mother.

Not entirely sure if that puts minds at rest or not.”

This isn’t the first time Hurley has shared revealing photos on social media.

She has posed topless on several occasions and frequently shows off her bikini bod.

Hurley’s swimsuit line has been popular since its launch in 2005.
