Did Steven Seagal Kill a Dog During a Cockfight Bust?
Action star and former deputy sheriff, Steven Seagal, is facing allegations that he killed a dog during a cockfighting bust in Arizona.
The incident occurred in 2011, but the lawsuit filed by Jesus Llovera against Seagal and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office is still ongoing.
Llovera was arrested during the bust for his involvement in the cockfighting ring, but he claims that his dog was needlessly killed by deputies.
He is seeking $25,000 in damages from the sheriff’s office.
Arpaio has defended his deputies, stating that he will do whatever it takes to protect them.

His office has called the lawsuit “completely without merit,” denying that any dog was killed during the operation.
The controversy surrounding Seagal’s alleged involvement in the dog’s death has led to harassment from media and associates, according to Arpaio.
A&E, the network that aired Seagal’s reality show “Steven Seagal: Lawman,” declined to comment on the ongoing legal battle.
Seagal, who served as a reserve deputy sheriff in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, and Maricopa County, Arizona, has faced criticism in the past for his participation in law enforcement activities.
