Demi Moore accuses Ashton Kutcher of ‘shaming’ her by sharing underwear picture on Twitter

In the latest revelation from her tell-all novel, Demi Moore has slammed ex-husband Ashton Kutcher for ‘shaming’ her by posting a photo of her in her underwear during their marriage.

The actress accuses Kutcher of the behavior in her new memoir Inside Out, claiming that the actor fostered her drinking but subsequently humiliated her.

The mother-of-three wrote: ‘It was [..] confusing. Ashton had encouraged me to go in this direction.

‘When I went too far, though, he let me know how he felt by showing a picture he’d taken of me resting my head on the toilet the night before.

‘It seemed like a good natured joke at the time. But it was really just shaming.’

In 2009, Ashton shared a photo of Demi on the social networking site.

“Shhh don’t tell wifey,” he wrote below the intimate photo.

Moore retaliated on Twitter at the time, writing, “He is such a sneak and while I was steaming his suit too!”

The photo, which was shot after the couple had spent time in the Turks and Caicos Islands following the wedding of her ex Bruce Willis and Emma Heming, showed the Ghost actress leaning down in her underwear.

The 41-year-old actor later clarified that his then-wife was wearing a bikini, not underwear, and that they had been at the beach together.

At the time he told fans: ‘Let’s back off a notch. It was a bikini, not underwear, so people might have been confused. She was ironing my pants.

‘That sounds weird, but we were on a beach and she was wearing a bikini, ironing my pants! I took a picture of her and asked her before I put it out to the world.

‘And then I sent it really quick. It’s a good butt – it’s a really good butt. And people saw it. You could see that at the beach.’

Demi claims she shattered her 20-year sobriety when she miscarried the couple’s baby in her tell-all book.

‘I wanted to be that girl,’ she recalled. ‘The girl who could have a glass of wine at dinner, or do a tequila shot at a party. In my mind, Ashton wanted that, too. So I tried to become that: a fun, normal girl.’

Moore also discusses the couple’s other marital problems in the book, including Kutcher’s infidelity, which she feels results from their decision to have threesomes.

Moore says in the book, “I put him first. So when he expressed his fantasy of bringing a third person into our bed, I didn’t say no. I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be.”

Since the publication of his ex-wife’s book, Ashton has appeared to respond to her accusations on social media.

“I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it.”

Ashton has also responded to Demi’s accusations by putting a phone number on his Twitter account and urging followers to text him if they want the truth.

Moore mentioned her biography on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, stating, “In a way, I’m nervous for anyone who is in there, from a point of feeling sensitive and putting myself in their place. I feel so good about the point of view, which for me, I have no interest in blaming or villainizing anyone, the journey in the book is about overcoming.”

She claims that she communicated with Kutcher before to the publication of the book, but that it should not be assumed that he “instigated” the threesomes. “He expressed something that was of a fantasy and it was in my efforts to want to please and be what I thought he wanted,” she explained.

Demi insisted on telling Ellen DeGeneres that she had informed her ex about the book’s content, saying, ‘I have, yes. I tried to keep the perspective on my story.’

In November 2011, the couple announced their split. Moore expressed gratitude for her ex-husband.

She said in the book, “I’m grateful to Ashton, too, believe it or not. Whatever pain we went through together enabled both of us to grow into the people we are today.”
