Demi Lovato Poses in Sexy White swimsuit while celebrating turning 29 in the Maldives with friends

Demi Lovato is staying cool for the summer.

The 29-year-old tweeted sultry photos from their Maldives vacation on Monday. The amusing photo shows the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer standing on the beach in a white racerback one-piece swimsuit. Lovato can also be seen splashing around in the water in a video.

They captioned the photo, “Alexa play Birthday Suit by @duckwrth.”

Within minutes after posting the photos, the comments section was flooded with individuals congratulating and praising the celebrity. Chelsea Handler, a comedian, wrote, “Nice tush,” Someone else said, “They are absolutely glowing ✨✨✨🤍🤍🤍,” Another individual remarked, “BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT ❤️❤️.”

Before hitting the waters, the celebrity posed for photographs and videos, facing the ocean.

The music video for “Melon Cake” from Lovato’s seventh studio album Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over, was released on Friday, kicking off the birthday celebrations.

Lovato, who turned 29 on August 20th, recently spoke out about their gender identification and their transition to nonbinary identity.

“Being nonbinary, what that means … is that I’m so much more than the binary of man and woman,” they stated last week at the 19th Represents Summit. “And that we are all so much more if we allow ourselves the ability to look within ourselves and challenge that binary that we’ve grown up living in.”

The actress — who came out as non-binary in May and utilizes they/them pronouns — came out about their gender fluidity, hinting that they may one day identify as trans.

According to People, the body confidence pictures follow a message Lovato shared on their Instagram Story in May about the power of words when it comes to weight and mental health. “Idk who needs to hear this but complimenting someone on their weight loss can be as harmful as complimenting someone on their weight gain in regards to talking to someone in recovery from an eating disorder,” Lovato tweeted, who has been vocal about their eating disorder struggle and treatment for years. “If you don’t know someone’s history with food, please don’t comment on their body. Because even if your intention is pure, it might leave that person awake at 2 am overthinking that statement…”

This comes after Demi uploaded an intimate bathtub photo in July with a message of self-acceptance.

“I feel the sexiest in the bathtub w no makeup, no extensions, no lashes.. naked. Just me in my purest form,” they captioned the post.

“I don’t always feel comfortable in my skin/body so I’m beyond grateful that in these moments, when I’m most vulnerable I can feel beautiful & accept myself as is. 💞🙏🏼,” Lovato wrote.

Demi looked magnificent as they leaned over the marble tub, their face devoid of any makeup.
