Controversy Surrounds Meghan Markle’s Visit to Uvalde, Texas

A recent trip by Meghan Markle to Uvalde, Texas has caused quite a stir on social media.

Now, a Reddit user has come forward with more details about the visit, shedding light on what really happened behind the scenes.

According to the Reddit post, the user had a conversation with one of the nurses who also went to Uvalde following the school shootings.

The two nurses discussed their experiences in the midst of the tragedy and how the “Markle Circus” unfolded.

The Reddit user expressed skepticism about an article they had read on Buzzfeed, which portrayed Meghan as a selfless helper in Uvalde.

They believed that the article was nothing more than a PR news release, with the only truth being the fact that Uvalde was indeed visited by Meghan.

The user then went on to share their own account of the events that took place on May 27th at Uvalde Memorial Hospital.

According to the user, Meghan arrived at the hospital accompanied by her bodyguard, photographer, and the Netflix crew.

It quickly became apparent that Meghan’s main objective was to take photos and videos with the injured children, claiming that it wouldn’t take much time.

However, Texans, unlike Meghan’s spouse, were not afraid to say no.

The Texas Highway Patrol, responsible for security at the hospital, escorted Meghan and her entourage out, suggesting that if she truly wanted to help, she should donate blood at the senior center.

Undeterred, the “circus” moved on to Robb Elementary, where Meghan posed for more photos in a mourning gesture.

However, the small community of Uvalde, known for its strong sense of family, saw through Meghan’s intentions.

She was seen as an ego profiteer, exploiting a tragic event for her own gain.

The nurse continued their account, revealing that Meghan then visited the Herbie Hamm Senior Center.

Instead of donating blood as suggested, Meghan opted for more photo opportunities, making it seem as if she had brought an abundance of food.

However, in reality, there were only three small vending machines, and the drinks and chips were provided by South Texas Blood for their donors.

The nurse concluded by stating that while Uvalde may have been “Markled,” at least Meghan didn’t manage to get selfies with the injured and traumatized children and parents.

In fact, she didn’t even donate the food.

The nurse expressed their disgust at Meghan’s intention to personally profit from such a tragic event, calling it despicable and unconscionable.

The backlash on social media was swift and harsh.

Users criticized Meghan for using the tragedy as a photo opportunity and accused her of seeking self-publicity.

The anger was palpable, with many expressing their disappointment in her behavior.

Some even suggested that Meghan should have been visiting her seriously incapacitated father instead.

Overall, Meghan Markle’s unannounced visit to Uvalde, Texas has caused quite a controversy.

While some may argue that she was simply paying her respects, others believe that posing for photographs and releasing them to the media was inappropriate and sickening.

The incident has certainly left a sour taste in the mouths of many, challenging Meghan’s professed modus operandi of compassion in action.
