Clark Gable was ‘gay for pay’ and yet homophobic

Clark Gable, also known as The King of Hollywood, was a well-known actor in the 1930s and 1940s.

Despite being married five times and having two children, he was famously known for his relationships with Hollywood starlets and his leading ladies on-screen.

However, rumors of Gable being involved with men have circulated in Hollywood for decades.

In a recent book by David Bret, “Clark Gable: Tormented Star”, the author claims that Gable engaged in “gay for pay” and “rough trade” activities, and had sex “for bucks.”

The author also claims that Gable used to clean his penis until it bled, and used a device to prolong his erections.

The New York Times questions the credibility of the author, who has written numerous celebrity biographies, and the information provided in his book.

The Times stated that the book is “painfully unsexy” and full of smut, but that the author does not provide clear evidence for his claims.

In addition, the author accuses Gable of being a hypocrite for his macho image and alleged homophobic rantings, while also engaging in sexual activities with men.

If Hollywood was as overrun by gay stars as the author suggests, why would Gable be “tormented” by his bisexual past?

Why would he have slept with men who had no significant influence in the entertainment industry?

If Gable used gay sex for career advancements, why would he have bedded men who had little to no influence in Hollywood?

The book is full of innuendo and exclamation points, but the view of old Hollywood presented in the book is thoroughly joyless.

The author also regards Gable as a “repressed bisexual” and a “testosterone-charged stud”.

The author’s claims about Gable’s fans are also questionable, as many of us do not require an eight-page plot summary of “Gone With the Wind”.

The author’s allegations of Gable’s sexuality are also purely speculative, as there is no hard evidence to support these claims.

There have also been rumors that Gable did not want to star in “Gone with the Wind” because George Cukor, an openly gay man, was attached to direct.

Cukor supposedly knew about Gable’s days of “hustling” the gay circuit before he became famous, and Gable was reportedly uncomfortable working with Cukor because of this.

However, these are just rumors and there is no clear evidence to support these claims.

In the end, Cukor was fired as the director of “Gone with the Wind” during the middle of the film’s production, due to battles with the film’s producer over who had final say on the production.

Cukor was eventually replaced by Gable’s friend, Victor Fleming.
