Christina Applegate Marries Martyn LeNoble in intimate LA ceremony
Christina Applegate married longterm partner Martyn LeNoble, the father of her 2-year-old daughter Sadie Grace, in a private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles on Saturday, her spokesman tells PEOPLE.
The bride wore a Maria Lucia Hohan gown, and their wedding bands were made by jeweler Neil Lane.
The sole hint about what was going on came from Martyn, a Dutch bassist, who tweeted, “What a glorious day.”
Applegate, 41, has been with LeNoble, 43, a founding member of the band Porno for Pyros, since 2008. According to Access Hollywood, they got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2010 but postponed getting married due to her busy work schedule.
In early 2012, she said, “Of course [we will get married]. But the schedule, the way that it is – it’s just almost impossible. It really is. It’s insane… . We kind of thought about, seriously, like a city hall thing. Like just going and doing it and being done with that part of it, then having a party six months from now.”

Before they began dating in 2007, the two artists were friends. “We had always cared deeply for one another when we were friends. And he came and put me under his wing. That was it – he was supposed to come,” she said.
Both of them are now married for the second time. Applegate, who won an Emmy for her performance on Married with Children and most recently Up All Night, was married to actor, writer, and director Johnathon Schaech for six years before their divorce in 2007.
Christina, who plays Rachel’s sister on Friends, has previously been linked to a number of rockers, including Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses, Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, and Brad Pitt.
She also credits LeNoble with helping her in her fight against breast cancer and recovery from a double mastectomy.
In 2010, she told Us Weekly, “I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life. Without him, I don’t know if I could’ve gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he’s been a really incredible help.”
Applegate, who co-stars with Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph in the NBC sitcom “Up All Night,” just announced her resignation from the program.
Applegate told Show Tracker earlier this month, “t’s been a great experience working on ‘Up All Night,’ but the show has taken a different creative direction, and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors.”
The former Married… With Children star expressed her desire to have additional children, but acknowledged that she may not be able to do so. “Because of some things that happened during my pregnancy, I don’t know if I can. I hope I can. We’ll see,” she said.
