Chloe Bailey criticized for graphic s** scene in Swarm

The young singer, Chloe Bailey, has been criticized for her explicit s** scene in her latest drama, Swarm, just a month after her collaboration with abusive artist Chris Brown caused public backlash.

Bailey’s character, Marissa, engages in a steamy s** scene with Khalid, played by Damson Idris, in the first few minutes of the first episode.

The scene is watched by Marissa’s sister, Dre (played by Dominique Fishback), before Khalid catches sight of her and continues to have s** with Marissa.

Fans of Bailey were quick to critique her acting choices, fearing that she may harm her career with such racy scenes.

On social media, one follower wrote, “Where is Chloe Bailey’s mentor please?

She’s been making terrible decisions lately, she should never have done that s** scene in Swarm.”

Another stated, “I get that it’s acting, but it’s unnecessary acting.

Beyonce is her mentor and has NEVER done a scene like this.

These new movies and shows are genuinely doing too much for no good reason.”

Many fans felt that Bailey’s decision to participate in such a scene was pointless, as one tweet read, “Swarm is insane & that random s** scene with Chloe Bailey was so pointless.”

However, some users defended Bailey’s performance in the show, arguing that the criticism was unwarranted.

One fan tweeted, “Why are some people acting like Chloe Bailey, aka someone who literally has Beyoncé as a mentor, would now be suffering in her career for doing a 10-second s** scene in a prestige drama made by an Emmy winner?”

The show, created by Donald Glover, centers around a young woman named Dre, who becomes obsessed with her favorite singer, leading to deadly consequences.

Bailey portrays a cult leader named Eva that manipulates her followers through hypnosis.

Swarm’s first season premiered on Amazon Studios on Friday and stars other actors such as Bryron Bowers, Kiersey Clemons, Paris Jackson, Rickey Thompson, Rory Culkin, and X Mayo.

This news comes after Bailey received backlash for her choice to record a song with Chris Brown titled “How Does It Feel” for her upcoming debut album, In Pieces.

Many fans argued that collaborating with Brown, who has a long history of extreme violence against women, was a mistake, and expressed their frustration on social media.

Bailey’s management faced criticism from Twitter users, with one writing, “Chloe Bailey’s management has no idea who her target audience is, and that’s why they make such poor decisions and have her all over the place.”

Another added, “Chloe Bailey making a song with Chris Brown in 2023, it’s like she’s afraid of success.”

The general consensus on social media is that it is “disgusting” that people are “giving this abusive p.o.s [piece of sh** attention.”

Some users reflected on what exactly female artists like Chloe Bailey were trying to prove by working with Chris Brown.

The award-winning journalist, Ernest Owens, wrote, “We’re failing Black women in music if they feel like they have to collaborate with a known abuser to chart.”

Despite the criticism, Bailey has not responded to any of the comments made on social media.
