Catherine Zeta-Jones shares steamy kiss with lesbian lover on-screen

She has established herself as one of Hollywood’s most glamorous stars at the age of 48.

In The Cocaine Godmother, Catherine Zeta-Jones plays one of her most risqué roles to date, in which she indulges in a bawdy lesbian love scene.

The actress portrays drug lord Griselda Blanco in the TV film, which is based on the true story of the lady who helped to pioneer the drug trade in the United States.

Griselda was assassinated in 2012 after committing an estimated 200 murders.

And the explosive teaser shows the brunette beauty stripping down for a hot sex scene with her stunning co-star, with a busty Catherine flashing her braless chest while passionately kissing her boyfriend.

Griselda looks to be captivated by a rare moment of desire as her lover drags her hand along her body, and the two share a passionate kiss.

She drawls: “I’ve been in prison since the day I was born. I’m used to it. Trust no one, in this life.”

Further dramatic shots from the video show the actress scrutinizing a procession of scantily clad beauty before placing packages of narcotics into their underwear, which she previously acknowledged to gaining weight for the part.

‘Women are like spiders,’ she continues. ‘They pull you into their web until you can no longer breathe.’

Scenes from the new teaser reveal Catherine in a role she has never played before, as a drug lord who ruled in the 1970s and 1980s.

The part might be one of Catherine’s most memorable ever, as she wears aged make-up and is frequently covered in a neatly wrapped headscarf.

She is also seen being struck in the face by her boyfriend and coldly gunning down an unfaithful spouse in the movie.

Catherine already discussed how she underwent bodily transformations for the part.

“I gained weight, I was hunched over,” she told Deadline. “If I had balls, I’d have grabbed them from time to time. I wanted to let it all hang out.

“She thought she was beautiful. She was the movie star starring in her own movie. She didn’t give a s***.”

Catherine said that her aim for the role was “not to homogenise her or find a sympathetic quality, because I don’t think she had one. I applaud Lifetime and A+E. It would have been easy to rose-tint this story.”

“But there was something fantastic about how she was the boss in a dangerous man’s world,” she said.

She said: “You gotta give it to her. I remember saying as bad as she is, I’m going to make people kind of like her.”

The trailer also teases the appearance of a young Pablo Escobar, one of the most prominent drug lords of the twentieth century, at one point.

On January 20th, 2018, Lifetime will premiere Cocaine Grandmother.
