The 26-year-old rapper was in the midst of a energetic twerking routine on stage when her multi-colored jumpsuit split on her backside.

The incident was captured in photos and videos shared on Cardi’s Instagram account, showing the star quickly covering up and pulling on a dressing gown to protect her modesty.

Despite the mishap, Cardi proved to be a true professional by continuing her set and even sharing a clip of herself in a skimpy Gucci swimsuit and white knee-high boots on Instagram, captioning it “This choppa come straight from Dior.”

Cardi’s wardrobe malfunction comes after she had to cancel some performances earlier this year due to complications from plastic surgery.

The rapper underwent liposuction and breast augmentation surgery following the birth of her daughter Kulture last year, and doctors urged her to take some time off to rest.

However, Cardi ignored this advice and performed at the Beale Street Music Festival in May, stating:
