Burt Reynolds: My s*x life was ruined by my stunts

Burt Reynolds, the legendary film star, has opened up about how his s** life was ruined by the physical damage he suffered from doing his own stunts.

Despite dating a number of leading ladies, including Sally Field, Reynolds admitted that the battering he took from 50 years of energetic film work had a tough down side.

Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show on ITV, the Boogie Nights star said that he had done all his own stunts which was why he could not walk very well now.

“It’s very embarrassing if you’re with a woman and you go to throw her over the other side of the bed and your knee goes out,” he said.

Reynolds, who is now 79 years old, went on to explain that he could point to certain places on his body and know that it was from certain pictures.

“I can point to certain places and know it’s from certain pictures.

“At certain times in the morning I regret it, trying to get out of bed,” he said.

Reynolds has suffered a number of injuries over the years, including a broken jaw, which he claims was the result of a fight scene.

Unfortunately, the injury left him unable to eat solids.

Reynolds also spoke candidly about his relationship with his police chief father Burton.

He revealed that his dad would never say “I love you”, and that he came from a generation that didn’t hug, kiss and say “I love you”.

Reynolds broke down in tears as he opened up about the tense relationship between him and his father.

In addition to his romantic exploits off-screen, the actor has starred in numerous hit films over the years, including Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit and The Longest Yard.

Reynolds also spoke about the fact that he took painkillers because he liked them.

“It was an interesting time and that’s when you find out who your friends are,” he said.

Reynolds first hit the big time in the 1970s, when he became one of the biggest box office stars in the world.

He was often seen as the epitome of masculinity, and his rugged good looks and charm made him a hit with women around the globe.

Reynolds has admitted in the past that he has had his fair share of romantic encounters over the years, but he has also spoken about the fact that he has never been able to find true love.
