Brooke Shields reveals she ran ‘b*tt n^ked’ from room after losing her virginity aged 22

Brooke Shields’ new documentary, Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, has revealed some intimate details about her life.

The actress, now 57, recounted how she ran “b*tt n^ked” from the room after losing her virginity to Dean Cain when she was 22 years old.

The documentary explores Shields’ complex life which included posing n^de as a young girl and being publicly sexualized in show business throughout her teens.

Shields also explored her complicated relationship with her mother, who looked on while she was forced to seductively kiss Keith Carradine, then 27, in the 1978 film Pretty Baby in which she played a prostitute at just 11-years-old.

During the documentary, Shields revealed that she felt “regret” about how she lost her virginity to Cain, and that he was “more comfortable with the s**ual part” of their relationship than she was.

Shields explained that she was more interested in “the love and the commitment” side of their relationship, and that they taught each other about one another while together.

Shields laughingly recalled her first time sleeping with Cain when she was a junior in college.

“When we finally had s**, I immediately ran out of the room, ran down the hall b*tt n^ked, just running.

I didn’t know where I was going,” she said.

“He ran after me with the duvet and grabbed a hold of me and said, ‘Where are you going?’

He said, ‘I’m not going anywhere, I’m not leaving you, you’re the same person.’

He got it immediately and I just cried.

“I wanted to jump into the personal relationship and the love and the commitment,” she said in the documentary.

“We had to teach each other about each other.”

Shields explained how she was baffled by her reaction to s** at the time, saying: “I feel bad for that girl.

She was old enough to own her own body for real.

And just I couldn’t get there at that moment.”

In her 2015 memoir, There Was a Little Girl, The Real Story of My Mother and Me, Shields previously described how her reaction was spurned by her mother’s possessiveness.

“I believe she wanted me to stay hers alone,” Shields wrote.

“She believed in an absolute hold she had on me and growing up, and having s**, would mean that I was leaving her.”

The incidents weren’t the first time that Shields was sexualized by the media.

At 15 she shot Blue Lagoon, then came Endless Love.

Both featured s** and nudity, while she also appeared scantily clad in a Calvin Klein denim advertisement campaign at the same age.

When she was 16 and a global star, a family friend and photographer tried to sell n^de photos he took of her when she was only 10.

Her mother sued and the family went to court but the photographer won.

Shields has been approached about documentaries before and always said no.

But now with a kid going off to college, and with the encouragement of her friend Ali Wentworth and a secure feeling about her life brought on by years of therapy, Shields felt the time was right.

She has recently admitted that even in her books, she wasn’t telling the whole truth when it came to the n^de photos of her as a child.

“It was too much for me to cop to that, really,” Shields said.

“Writing about it just broke me.

It was her that I was protecting.”

In the documentary, Shields struggles to understand how her mother Teri Shields did not intervene.

She revealed that her own daughters, Rowan, 19, and Grier, 16, refuse to watch Pretty Baby.

In the documentary, Rowan said “It’s child pornography!

Would you have let us [do that] at the age of 11?”

Shields replied “No” as she was overcome with emotion.

The star’s mother was an alcoholic who died in 2012.

Shields, an only child, said she could not be angry at her as her mother was so insecure.

Shields’ new documentary, Pretty Baby, was released on Hulu in two parts on April 3.

The documentary is an explosive look at the actress’s life and her complex relationship with her mother.
