Chris Henchy, the husband of actress Brooke Shields, caused a stir last month when he was caught by paparazzi walking without his shirt on in Manhattan.

However, Henchy recently clarified that his decision to walk topless alongside his wife was a joke.

He revealed this during the premiere of the movie “Impractical Jokers,” which he directed.

According to Henchy, he and Shields were leaving the venue when they stumbled upon a group of paparazzi.

Instead of shying away from them, he decided to give them something to talk about.

Henchy asked Shields if she was okay with him taking his shirt off and she agreed.

“We walk out and there were paparazzi and I was like, ‘Argh paparazzi, let’s give ‘em a show,” he told Page Six.

Henchy also explained that some people didn’t get the joke and thought that he walked around without his shirt on all the time.

However, he assured everyone that it was just a one-time thing.

“Some people thought I just walked around without my shirt on,” he added, “some people got the joke.”

The co-creator of “Funny or Die” went on to say that his daughters had conflicting reactions to the incident.

One of them laughed at her father’s antics while the other was embarrassed and walked away.

He also admitted that he is a sensitive person who cries easily.

“I talk about my kids I’ll cry.

I talk about a movie I cry,” he said with a laugh.

“My kids get mad.
