Brooke Shields admits being terrified of s-x

Brooke Shields, the 56-year-old model and actress, recently spoke about her fear of s-x in her 20s in an interview with Yahoo! Life.

Shields, who rose to fame as a child model and actress in the 1980s, said that she was a virgin until the age of 22 and that the idea of having s-x filled her with guilt.

She said, “I thought I was committing an offense to humanity for being a Catholic, not married, and I had so much guilt.”

Shields’ views on s-x changed when she reached her 40s, and she now wants her daughters, Rowan, 18, and Grier, 15, to understand that s-x should be a joint decision and that they should never feel used in a relationship.

She said, “It wasn’t until my 40s that I started thinking of s-x as my experience, not someone else’s experience that I just navigated. What I want my daughters to know is that it’s a joint decision. Even with as woke as everybody is, you’d be shocked at how they see themselves within relationships. I don’t want them ever to feel used. I want them to feel more in control and not ashamed of anything.”

Shields is married to Chris Henchy, and she said that she is grateful to have a husband who loves and supports her at every stage of her life.

She said, “I do have a wonderful husband who celebrates me. He loves me at every stage, which I’m very blessed by.”

Despite the demands of parenting, Shields believes that couples should never lose sight of romance in their relationship.

She said, “But you can’t lose sight of date night or romance. You don’t want it to become, like, a chore, you know? With age comes this sense of confidence and knowledge. And I think that that’s not the predominant message out there.”

Shields rose to fame as a child model and actress in the 1980s. She began her acting career at the age of 11 months, appearing in a television commercial for Ivory soap.

She then went on to star in several films, including “Pretty Baby” and “The Blue Lagoon”. In the 1990s, she starred in the television series “Suddenly Susan”, which ran for four seasons.

Since then, Shields has continued to act in both film and television, and she has also written several books.

In her interview with Yahoo! Life, Shields also spoke about the importance of self-care and taking care of one’s mental health.

She said, “I think self-care is crucial. It’s not selfish, it’s a necessity. It’s like putting on your oxygen mask before helping others. And that’s hard to do, especially as women, because we’re supposed to be the nurturers.”

Shields also emphasized the importance of seeking help when needed, saying, “It’s not a weakness to ask for help. It’s a strength. I think that mental health needs to be taken as seriously as physical health. And it needs to be destigmatized so that people feel comfortable seeking help and talking about it.”

Shields spoke about the joys and challenges of parenting, saying, “Children are everything. But you can’t lose sight of date night or romance. You don’t want it to become, like, a chore, you know?”

Shields’ words provide a reminder to all parents to prioritize their relationship and to never lose sight of romance and intimacy, even with the demands of parenting.

As Shields herself has learned, having a strong and loving relationship with one’s partner can be the foundation for a fulfilling and happy life.
