Britney Spears took to Instagram on Friday to share her latest dance routine, and it’s a throwback to the 90s.

The pop star grooved to Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s 1995 hit Scream, dressed in a black crop top, bright green thong, and black leather knee-high boots.

The 41-year-old singer regularly shares clips of her impromptu dance sessions in her home, but this time, it seems she was feeling nostalgic.

She later posted side-by-side photos of her rehearsal and on-stage looks for her 2001 performance with the King of Pop, who died in 2009 at the age of 50.

The photos show Spears in a white long-sleeved crop top and low-rise jeans with a tan hat and round glasses for the rehearsal.

In the concert photo, she’s dressed in a glittery green dress with black straps and detailing around her bust and waist.

Spears sang a duet of Michael Jackson’s 1987 classic The Way You Make Me Feel at his show in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

She captioned the split image, “Rehearsals with Michael vs. performance face with rolling eyes nerd face thinking face.”

After paying tribute to Michael, Spears also danced to his sister Janet’s 1993 single Throb in another video.

In the first part of the clip, she wore a coral long-sleeved crop top, red bikini bottom with pink flowers, and a pair of white knee-high boots.

She then treated her followers to a costume change when she was later seen barefoot while wearing a similar white top and blue patterned string bikini bottoms.

In the caption, she wrote, “Second half is without my white boots.

I went barefoot, but can you guess the part where I accidentally stepped on a piece of glass and cut my foot?

I played it off, but blood was everywhere.”

It’s clear that Britney Spears is still a big fan of the Jackson family and loves to pay homage to them through her dance routines.
