Bridget Fonda spotted for first time in 12 years after quitting acting
Bridget Fonda has been photographed for the first time in 12 years, after leaving the entertainment industry to focus on parenting.
Taken today, on her 58th birthday, these images show the once-svelte and elegant actress, who retired from acting in 2002, looking quite different from her red carpet heyday.
The former Hollywood star was photographed driving her silver luxury Land Rover around the city with her husband Danny Elfman’s 17-year-old son Oliver.
The award-winning actress was last seen in public in 2009, when she attended the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds.
The star of Jackie Brown wore a black and white striped v-neck t-shirt and carried a coffee cup, her phone, and her keys. She also wore dark blue sweatpants and gray New Balance sneakers to keep things casual. She was also wearing glasses and a blue face mask while out and about, and she was carrying a pocketbook.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee was spotted strolling the streets of the celebrity destination with her dog.
Bridget was a Hollywood legend in the 1980s and 1990s, appearing in films such as Jackie Brown, The Godfather II, Single White Female, and It Could Happen To You.
She is a member of the well-known Fonda acting family. Her grandfather was Oscar winner Henry Fonda (who died in 1982 at the age of 77), her father was “Easy Rider” actor Peter Fonda (who died in 2019 at the age of 79), and her aunt is 84-year-old actress and fitness expert Jane Fonda.
The conscientious Godfather Part III star also wore a paper medical mask to remain safe.

The actress had various objects strewn across her dashboard while driving around the city, including what seemed to be a box of face masks.
She was caught on camera glancing in both directions as she exited a massive parking facility.
Fonda is said to have retired from acting following a catastrophic vehicle accident in 2003 in which she broke her back. In the same year, she married Danny Elfman, the 68-year-old composer and former leader of Oingo Boingo. Oliver, their 17-year-old son, arrived a year later. (From his marriage to Geri Eisenmenger, Elfman has two children, Lola and Mali.)
Bridget presently resides in two nearby residences in Encino, a community in the San Fernando Valley district of Los Angeles, with her husband Danny, 68, and their only son Oliver.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Gwen Stefani, and Selena Gomez all live in the exclusive neighborhood where they live.
Elfman is still active in the entertainment sector, posting often on his 158,000-follower Instagram account, which concentrates on his career as a musician and the family dog, Yuki, rather than his family. Elfman announced two days ago that he will be playing at this year’s Coachella music festival.
