Beyoncé’s wardrobe malfunction ruins her performance
Beyonce experienced a wardrobe malfunction during her performance at Coachella.
The incident occurred as she welcomed Destiny’s Child to the stage, and her thigh high boots fell to her ankles.
As a result, Beyonce was forced to perform some moves one-handed while dancing with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland to the songs “Soldier” and “Independent Women.”
The costumes worn by Beyonce during the performance were designed by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
Fans were quick to defend Beyonce and criticize the designer on social media.

One fan tweeted, “Poor Beyonce, them boots would not let be great! RIP to whoever designed that last costume. #ByeChella.”
Another fan tweeted, “I feel so bad for the costume designer… them boots and this final bodysuit can’t sustain Beyonce.”
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Beyonce’s performance was highly praised by fans and fellow performers.
Singer Sam Smith tweeted, “Beyoncé at Coachella looks out of this world.” Another fan tweeted, “Beyoncé proves yet again that she’s the greatest performer of all time. That’s it. No more debates.”
In addition to her performance with Destiny’s Child, Beyonce also brought out her husband Jay Z on stage for the song “Deja Vu” and had a dance off with sister Solange.
She was accompanied by a live band and backing dancers throughout the performance.
This marked Beyonce’s first time headlining Coachella, after she was forced to cancel her performance at the festival last year due to her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir, who were born in June 2017.
As she was preparing to perform “Run The World (Girls),” Beyonce exclaimed, “Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella.”
