Audrey Hepburn voted most beautiful woman of 20th century
Audrey Hepburn has been named the most beautiful woman of the twentieth century, beating out contemporary beauties Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johannson.
The gorgeous lass defeated Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly to the top place in the poll for shopping channel QVC. She is most known for her famous glam stance in a black Givenchy dress, pearls, and gloves in the 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
The actress, who died in 1993 and was also a UNICEF ambassador, beat Cole, the nation’s 21st-century crush, who came second.
According to Sky News, although Cheryl Cole came in second, Marilyn Monroe, the star of Some Like It Hot, finished in third.
A-lister Angelina Jolie came in fourth place, while Grace Kelly took fifth place.

The Princess of Wales was placed ninth, while Scarlett Johansson and Halle Berry were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively.
QVC conducted the poll to commemorate the start of its Beauty Month, which runs from July 1 to July 31. More than 2,000 women were polled to select the 100 most beautiful ladies in history.
Kylie Minogue, Beyonce Knowles, and Audrey Tatou were just outside the top ten.
