Ashley Benson loved filming Threesome Scene With Vanessa Hudgens And James Franco
Ashley Benson, who plays Hannah on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, discussed filming a threesome with Vanessa Hudgens and James Franco on the set of her upcoming film Spring Breakers.
The 23-year-old “Pretty Little Liars” actor confessed to HollywoodLife that filming the sequence was “comfortable.”
This is in sharp contrast to Vanessa’s experience, who called it “something I never want to do again.”
“I’m really happy I had Vanessa to be there with me, and James, he’s done this a million times. He didn’t make it awkward at all. We were very comfortable,” Benson said. “[Director Harmony Korine] wanted us to be comfortable, or else it would have looked weird. Vanessa and I were so thankful that we were so close and had each other because any intimate scene is very awkward. Even kissing a guy on screen is awkward because you have people all around you filming as well as an audience so I don’t know, it turned out amazing.”

“We didn’t start till midnight so, the whole day it was raining, freezing cold, and I just went to the store and bought a ton of groceries and started eating a lot, then I went to set and discussed the scene with Harmony, Vanessa and James. We just did it, and then it was done!”
Selena Gomez and Rachel Korine also feature in the film, which will be released in cinemas on March 22. All four actresses portray college students who loot a fast-food restaurant to fund their spring break vacation to Florida and become entangled with Franco’s drug dealer. The actresses seem to be wearing bikinis for the entirety of the movie.
When questioned about the much-hyped threesome, Hudgens was less excited than Benson. In November, Hudgens told Glow magazine, “It was very nerve-racking for me. I told my agent that I never want to do it ever again.”
“Spring Breakers” was shot in a cinema verite style, with real-life college students providing an ultra-realistic backdrop.
“We were filming this party scene, and there were these two girls — actual spring breakers — on the ground, topless, making out with each other. And then the bottoms started to come off, and I was like, OH MY GOD!” Hudgens disclosed in a recent interview.
