Actress hated kissing Ryan Reynolds
Actress Morena Baccarin has recently admitted that she didn’t enjoy kissing Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool movie or filming a s** scene with him that took two days to shoot.
The pair had an intimate scene together in the first Deadpool film that was released in 2016.
In the first instalment of the Marvel film franchise, she played Vanessa, the girlfriend of Reynolds’ character, Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool.
The film is famous for its action scenes, fights, and almost comedic violence, but for a brief moment in the first film, there’s a s** scene montage involving Reynolds and Baccarin.
Baccarin has opened up about how the reality was a million miles away from what fans saw in the film.

The American actress has revealed that she really didn’t enjoy shooting the explicit scenes, which see the on-screen couple celebrate occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, and a number of other national holidays with some bedroom activities.
She revealed that a lot of what they shot over the two days was “left on the cutting room floor,” adding: “And I feel good about that – the part that was left out.
“I literally mean that was enough s**.”
Baccarin had nothing but praise for her co-star for making her feel comfortable throughout all the awkward scenes due to his professionalism.
“There’s a lot of laughing. And that stuff is always uncomfortable,” she told Collider in 2015, “But, we made the best of it.”
She continued: “By the end of the day you’re like ‘Okay, where do you want me, how do you-?’ You’re like spreading your legs and you’re like whatever, it’s just, you get so used to each other.”
However, it wasn’t just the s** scenes that were a struggle, with Baccarin revealing that it was pretty unpleasant to kiss Reynolds with his Deadpool superhero mask on.
She told People magazine in 2018: “I keep saying that kissing him in that mask is like kissing a giant latex condom.
“It basically just smells like rubber the entire time.”
Back in 2017, Baccarin spoke to TV host Conan O’Brien about her experience filming the movie, revealing that she loved it all – apart from the days shooting s** scenes.
She said: “It was really fun… minus the two days of s** scenes, it was wonderful, the whole experience.” She revealed that it took two days to shoot the s** scene, because she thinks it was them making sweet love for an entire calendar year.
So it was all the holidays, and they dressed differently for everyone.
Baccarin’s co-star, Ryan Reynolds, is not the only actor that she has shared intimate scenes with.
She has also starred in Gotham and Homeland, where she had to shoot s** scenes.
However, she says that she feels comfortable with these scenes as long as the atmosphere on set is professional and respectful, and she trusts the people around her.
Baccarin has been a part of the Deadpool franchise since the first movie was released in 2016.
She reprised her role as Vanessa in its sequel, Deadpool 2, which was released in 2018.
In 2019, she also reprised her role as Dr. Leslie Thompkins in the Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths.
She’s been in the entertainment industry since 2001, and has appeared in several television shows, movies, and theatre productions.
Baccarin is a Brazilian-American actress who was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1979.
She moved to New York City with her family when she was just seven years old.
She graduated from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in 1996 and then attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001.
Baccarin has been married twice.
Her first marriage was to film director and producer Austin Chick.
The couple got married in 2011 and had a son together in 2013.
However, they divorced in 2016.
She then got married to her Gotham co-star, Ben McKenzie, in 2017.
