Snoop Dogg Spends $50,000 A Year on a Full-Time Blunt Roller

We all know that the affluent and famous prefer to have someone scurry around doing the duties they don’t want to do, but in what appears to be the pinnacle of celebrity excess, Snoop Dogg hires a full-time blunt roller.

On a recent edition of the Howard Stern Show, he disclosed that he hires a full-time blunt roller to ensure that he always has extra neatly rolled cannabis on hand.

The job is full-time and pays “$40 to $50,000 a year,” according to Snoop, who was joined on the show by Seth Rogen. “He knows how to gauge the look on someone’s face when it seems like they might want a blunt,” Rogen said. “And if they do, he gives you one!”

“Timing. That motherfucker’s timing is impeccable,” Snoop said.

“That’s his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, ‘What do you do?’ ‘ I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.’

“If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring you.”

“Motherfucker like Lurch from The Addams Family. ‘You rang?’” said Snoop, who just contributed the song “My Family” to the upcoming Addams Family film.

Not only does Snoop pay him upwards of $50,000 to create blunts, but he also receives benefits like being able to use the marijuana he rolls, going on all-expense-paid trips while Snoop is on tour, and receiving free merchandise such as apparel if firms offer the artist their wares.

Professional rollers exist and work for high-end smokers in various ways. On an episode of Jobs Unlisted earlier this year, Waka Flocka Flame looked for one.

That said, working with Snoop is unlikely to be easy. In a 2012 Reddit AMA, the rapper revealed that he smokes 81 blunts every day.

Snoop also addressed Tekashi 6ix9ine’s reputation as a snitch following a string of recent convictions on the same broadcast. “I’ve heard of people telling on each other — ratting on the organization — but he ratted on other organizations on top of his organization,” he said. “That motherfucker sang like Aretha Franklin.”
