Jessica Alba, whose film contracts include a no-nudity provision, has said that she would never perform nudity sequences because she doesn’t want her grandparents to see her boobs.

“I don’t want my grandparents to see my boobs. That’s it,” Alba tells Glamour. “It would be weird at Christmas. And, I mean, really, if you look at the movies I have done, getting naked would never ‘elevate’ the picture.”

But does it imply that if a n*de scene was really necessary to elevate the film, she would do it? My hunch is that the answer would remain the same. She addressed the topic with Elle magazine in 2005 and gave the same stern response. She said, “I don’t do nudity. I just don’t. Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won’t get hired in some things.”

Alba, who is married to Cash Warren and has two kids, also said that her various health concerns as a youngster inspired her to work for a healthy future for her family.

“I had so many health issues,” she said, “and come hell or high water, my kids were going to be as healthy as possible,” she said.

“My life was tough as a kid. I was so lonely. And I felt really disconnected from my friends because I spent so much time in the hospital with grown-ups, and felt like a weirdo. It’s a strange way to spend your time as a kid. All you want to do is play.”

The actress praises her childhood for assisting her in realizing her dream of launching her own business, noting her mother’s strong work ethic and independence as examples.

“Where I was from, you had to answer to a man if he was the breadwinner,” Alba said.

Elsewhere, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is planned to enter cinemas on August 22.

The film stars Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, and Mickey Rourke, and is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.

Josh Brolin, Alba’s close friend Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven will all star in the film.
