‘Star Trek’ Actress Jennifer Lien Arrested ‘for exposing herself to children’

Jennifer Lien was arrested and has been in detention for two weeks after reportedly exposing herself in front of multiple children, according to Roane County authorities.

Lien was arrested on two counts of exposing herself to a kid under the age of 13 at her residence, according to CNN. Lien apparently confronted a neighbor about her children. After the altercation, Lien exposed herself, according to her neighbor, Carey Smith.

“All of a sudden, here come the shirt up,” Smith told WATE, a Tennessee news station. “She started flashing and, ‘Woo hoo,’ and I said, ‘And what respect is that for kids?’ There was none. And then she turned around and dropped her pants.”

Deputies from the Roane County Sheriff’s Office served the warrants on September 3 to Lien’s Harriman home, where she was found naked on her couch under a blanket.

Lien allegedly refused to dress when deputies asked him to.

According to responding officer Billy Walker’s police report, “the offender stated she wasn’t going any f–king where and we needed to leave her alone.”

Lien, who played Kes on “Star Trek: Voyager” from 1995 to 2000, allegedly threatened the detaining cops, vowing to shoot and kill them all.

According to TMZ, Lien is still in the Roane County Detention Center as of Tuesday night. The amount of her bail was set at $2,500.

Lien has had a few run-ins with the authorities in the past. She was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, and aggravated assault after being detained in April. It’s unknown whether she’s represented by an attorney.

Lien portrayed Kes, a member of an extraterrestrial species who only lives for nine years, in Star Trek: Voyager. Lien was a regular for the first three seasons of the show. In 1997, she quit the show. She also starred in the film American History X, which was released in 1998.
