Miley Cyrus Exposes Bare Breast at MTV Video Music Awards
MTV took a chance when it chose Miley Cyrus to host the 2015 Video Music Awards. Despite the network’s precautionary effort to avoid R-rated antics by the artist, she nonetheless managed to expose her breast on live television.
As the concert progressed, Cyrus, who was changing into a costume backstage while being filmed, lost her grasp on a neatly concealed curtain when a producer handed her a microphone. It’s been dubbed “TV’s first drapery malfunction.”
“Oh what’s happening? Oh sorry, my boob’s out?” she was heard saying as the camera cut away.
Even while the flash lasted less than a second, it was long enough for viewers to catch a glimpse of Cyrus’ birthday suit.
But that wasn’t all; the Wrecking Ball singer also had a verbal spat with Nicki Minaj on live air.

Minaj began her acceptance speech for Best Hip-Hop Video (which she won) in a street-tough tone (“Where all my girls at getting their own money, make some noise!”), then shifted to a mock-polite Swiftian tone to thank her “epic” and “beautiful” fans and pastor. Then she went back to being aggressive, aiming her rage at Cyrus, “this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press.”
‘We are all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how the media manipulates things,’ replied the 22-year-old Party In The USA hitmaker, who was standing on a different platform onstage.
‘Congratulations, Nicki,’ she added.
While her microphone was shut off, Nicki could still be seen ranting at Miley, who replied by claiming she has survived losses in the past.
Miley’s outrageous conduct did not stop there, as she reportedly passed around a marijuana cigarette in the press area following the event.
“Everyone. I’m sure a lot of us have known each other for a really long time. Even though I’m not old, I’ve been doing this (expletive) for a while,” she informed the journalists, according to the New York Daily News.
”And because you’re all my friends, and my song is kinda sorta about the love of marijuana/the love of humankind, I brought a little joint if anyone would like any. Anyone?”
Swift presented Kanye West with the Vanguard Award in the other anticipated and disappointing showdown, concluding a six-year spat that began when West interrupted Swift’s VMA acceptance speech to suggest Beyonce should have won. “I have been a fan of his since I can remember,” Swift stated before presenting West with the honor.
Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Tori Kelly, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, and Twenty One Pilots With A$AP Rocky all performed on the show.
