Deal or No Deal Boss Mocked Megan with Screenshot Message, Denies Hosting Role Begging

The iconic game show, Deal or No Deal, is set to make a comeback, with Stephen Mullen taking on the role of host.

After being axed from Channel 4 six years ago, the program will now air on ITV1 and ITVX.

Contestants will once again face off against the infamous banker, battling for a chance to win a life-changing cash prize in a thrilling game of nerves and intuition.

Noel Edmonds previously hosted the show from its inception in 2005 until its conclusion in August 2016, after the 13th series.

However, Megan Markle’s hopes of landing a co-host role have been shattered due to her negative comments about the show on a podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex allegedly claimed that she was treated as a bimbo during her time on the American version of Deal or No Deal.

Lucas Green, the chief content officer at Banerjee, the company that owns the Deal or No Deal franchise, has finally responded to these accusations.

In an interview, Green strongly disagreed with Megan’s claims that the show objectified women.

He stated, “We’re constantly updating the format to ensure it reflects our values as a company and society as a whole.”

Green emphasized that a lot of effort goes into modernizing the show and distancing it from its past image.

Megan Markle first sparked controversy in October 2022 when she revealed that her experience on the game show, which aired from 2006 to 2007, made her feel like a bimbo.

During an episode of the Archetypes podcast, she recounted a specific incident where a woman backstage would repeatedly tell her to “suck it in.”

Markle also mentioned how the women were expected to wear hair extensions, fake eyelashes, spray tans, and bra padding, conforming to a specific beauty standard.

The former Suits actress expressed her frustration, stating that the focus of the show was solely on beauty and not on the intelligence of the women involved.

Despite being surrounded by smart women, she felt objectified and undervalued.

Markle admitted that she was grateful for the job as it provided a stepping stone in her acting career, but she ultimately quit due to the pressure to conform to a certain appearance.

However, there are conflicting accounts regarding Megan’s departure from the show.

It has been claimed that she was fired due to her alleged bad behavior towards Howie Mandel.

Another model who participated in Deal or No Deal, Donna Feldman, criticized Markle’s claims last year.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan also spoke out against the Royal’s statement, sharing her own experiences on the trivia show.

In conclusion, the return of Deal or No Deal brings excitement for fans of the iconic game show.

While Megan Markle hoped for a co-hosting role, her negative comments about the show have hindered her chances.

The chief content officer of the franchise has denied the accusations made by the Duchess of Sussex, emphasizing the efforts made to modernize and evolve the show.

The controversy surrounding Megan’s time on the show continues to be a topic of debate, with conflicting accounts and opinions from other participants.
