Harry and Meghan’s Former Nanny Quits Over Unpaid Overtime, Claims Insider

In a surprising turn of events, Jessica Reid Kraus, popularly known as athouseinahabit on Instagram, has revealed some intriguing details about Harry and Meghan.

Taking to her Instagram story, she shared insider information from a source close to the situation.

According to the source, the couple’s latest nanny, who was employed from August to October, quit due to unpaid overtime.

It seems that Harry and Meghan expected the nanny to work tirelessly for almost a month without any notice, even when they left their children in California to travel to the UK.

This revelation has sparked criticism from Royal Watchers on Instagram, with one user expressing their disbelief, stating, “Ridiculous!

Not paying someone who lives paycheck to paycheck?

I’d quit as well.”

Speculation about the couple’s financial situation has also arisen, with claims that they are desperate for money, resulting in new lawsuits.

While it is not suggested that they are broke, it seems they are struggling to keep up with their extravagant spending without additional income.

Undoubtedly, this puts immense pressure on Harry, especially since the contracts have stopped coming in as they had anticipated, leaving them bitter and vengeful.

Comparisons have been drawn between Harry and his brother, who is a billionaire, and his father, who holds the title of king.

This stark contrast in financial stability highlights the challenges faced by Harry and Meghan.

On the other hand, critics argue that the couple’s refusal to pay top dollar to those entrusted with their children demonstrates a lack of appreciation for both their workers and their kids.

In contrast, the Wales’ children have had the same nanny since the birth of their eldest son, George, ensuring stability and consistency in their lives.

Adding another layer to the story, Archie’s former nanny recently shared an interesting encounter with Prince Harry.

Lauren Kumalo, who hails from Zimbabwe and featured in the couple’s new Netflix show, recounted her experience of meeting Prince Harry for the first time.

She vividly described seeing him walking barefoot outside Frogmore Cottage, their marital home.

Lauren reminisced about feeling at ease upon meeting him, as all formalities seemed to dissipate.

Her admiration for Prince Harry was evident as she recalled the encounter, saying, “I’ve got these new shoes from Clarks, and suddenly whatever I thought or felt, the formality just sort of slid.

I felt so at ease.”

Currently working as a neonatal intensive care and pediatric nurse at The Portland, a prestigious private maternity hospital in Westminster, Lauren has a deep connection to the royal family.

The Portland Hospital has been the preferred choice for generations of royal women giving birth, including Meghan herself and her son Archie.

After Archie’s birth, Meghan’s mother, Doria, stayed at Frogmore Cottage for a month, accompanying her daughter as they welcomed the newborn home.

Lauren also shared the story of how she was approached by the couple to work as a nanny for their baby.

Recounting the day she received the life-changing phone call, she expressed her excitement, saying, “I had this phone call, and they were like, Prince Harry and Meghan want to see you, they want to talk to you about being a nanny to their baby.

I said, hang on, I need to sit down.”

So overwhelmed with joy, she drove hastily to meet them, resulting in a speeding ticket.

Describing Harry and Meghan as hands-on parents, Lauren emphasized their active involvement in caring for baby Archie.
