Joshua Jackson’s Wife Enjoys Watching His s** Scenes, Reveals the Actor
In a recent interview with Variety, Joshua Jackson opened up about his wife, Jodie Turner-Smith’s, surprising reaction to his on-screen intimacy with co-stars.
The 44-year-old actor, known for his role in “Fatal Attraction,” shared that his wife is not bothered by his s** scenes and actually enjoys them.
“The s** scenes themselves, Jodie kind of enjoys them, actually.
It’s a weird thing where she’s like a voyeur,” he said, laughing.
This unique understanding between the couple allows Jackson to fully embrace his roles without any reservations.

The couple, who welcomed their daughter three years ago, have found that parenthood has influenced the types of roles Jackson takes on.
He explained in the interview that certain characters, such as a racist, are no longer something he wants to portray on camera, considering the impact it could have on his daughter.
“There are things I would have been interested in doing before having the baby, like playing a real racist,” he stated.
This shift in priorities reflects Jackson’s dedication to being a responsible parent.
Jackson and Turner-Smith first crossed paths in 2018 at a charity event in Los Angeles, thanks to a mutual friend.
Their connection was immediate, and they soon found themselves spending every moment together.
The actor humorously mentioned that if they had met five years earlier, they might have had a torrid affair.
However, their relationship blossomed at the right time, leading to marriage and the birth of their daughter.
Discussing the theme of affairs, which plays a central role in “Fatal Attraction,” Jackson shared his perspective on infidelity in relationships.
He believes that forgiveness is possible when it comes to affairs, emphasizing the importance of growth and repair.
“I think an affair can be forgiven.
We’re all grown-ups,” he expressed.
While acknowledging the pain caused by infidelity, Jackson believes that affairs are ultimately about the person who committed the transgression and the deeper violation they have caused.
In the upcoming Paramount+ series “Fatal Attraction,” Jackson stars alongside Lizzy Caplan, portraying the characters of Dan Gallagher and Alex Forrest, respectively.
The show is based on the 1987 psychosexual thriller of the same name, exploring the consequences of an affair turned obsession.
The series delves into two separate timelines, set in 2008 and 2023, and examines timeless themes of marriage, infidelity, and the portrayal of strong women in modern society.
During the premiere of “Fatal Attraction” in Los Angeles, Caplan expressed her hope that the show would offer viewers a fresh perspective compared to the original film.
She believes that the modern setting will allow audiences to reflect on the past and expect deeper character development.
