Megan’s Desperate Move: Hiring Tracy Ryerson to Target Lesbian Audience

Megan, who has faced consecutive failures, is now left with only a few last chances to succeed with Netflix.

In an attempt to expand her audience, she has recently made a controversial move by hiring Tracy Ryerson to target the LGBTQ+ community, specifically lesbians, in order to extract money from them.

This move has been widely criticized as cowardly.

Tracy Ryerson, a former model and reality star turned TV producer and Insta-mom, is the latest executive to join Megan and Harry’s broadcasting business, ArchWild Productions.

Today, it has been revealed that Tracy, 43, has been appointed as the head of scripted content at ArchWild Productions.

There are rumors circulating that the Sussexes are pitching a feminist-focused prequel to Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations to Netflix, with a particular focus on the iconic character Miss Havisham.

Tracy Ryerson is a TV executive who previously worked on the production company behind the popular show Peaky Blinders.

However, she gained fame in the US after appearing in two seasons of The Real L Word, a reality television series that followed the lives of a group of lesbians and bisexual women in Los Angeles.

Tracy, who realized she was gay in her mid-20s, met her stand-up comic partner, Stamey Kardashian, and they have been together for thirteen years.

Tracy describes herself on social media as a TV producer, sometimes actress, and always an Insta-mom.

With the reported $100 million deal signed by Netflix in 2020, ArchWild Productions is now looking to hire writers to create feel-good shows, including romantic comedies, for the streaming giant.

However, there have been rumors that Netflix may part ways with the Sussexes, following Spotify’s decision to ax their deal.

Spotify executives, along with popular podcaster Bill Simmons, have labeled them as “fucking grifters.”

In addition, one of Hollywood’s most powerful figures dismissed the Duchess of Sussex as a talentless broadcaster.

The Real L Word, which aired from 2010 to 2012, was hailed as a breakthrough show for the LGBTQ+ community.

Tracy and Stamey, after their appearance on The Real L Word, pitched a new reality series called My Four Moms, which aimed to cover the lives of lesbian parents who had split up and how they co-parented their children.

Unfortunately, the series was never made.

Stamey is now working as a real estate agent in LA, while Tracy starred in the short-lived series Kiss Her I’m Famous before transitioning behind the camera.

Tracy’s role as the head of scripted content at ArchWild Productions may be crucial in keeping the Sussexes’ Netflix deal on track.

She has previously worked as the head of TV for Rare Birds Productions, a production company with ties to Warner Bros. She also has experience working on Hollywood films and TV shows for London-based Karen Madibish Productions, including popular titles such as Peaky Blinders, Ocean’s 13, Westworld, Nancy Drew, and Tarzan.

Most recently, she worked for Fabula, a production company founded by Twilight stars Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder.

Harry and Meghan’s office and businesses have been described as a revolving door, with reports of 16 staff members leaving since their marriage five years ago.

However, it wasn’t until late 2020 that they officially launched the Archwell organization and its related businesses.

The most recent departures include Farrah Taylor, who led Archwell Productions’ marketing team, and Ben Browning, the internal content head.

Jeremy Zimmer, the chief executive at United Talent Agency, recently gave his opinion on Meghan’s abilities after Spotify terminated their $18 million deal with the couple.

He stated that he was not surprised by Spotify’s decision, claiming that Meghan Markle does not possess any significant audio talent or any kind of necessary talent.

Speaking at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France, Zimmer emphasized that fame does not automatically equate to greatness in a particular field.

Variety magazine reported that Spotify pulled the plug on the deal due to expecting more content from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their Archwell audio team.

In conclusion, Megan’s decision to hire Tracy Ryerson to target the lesbian audience has raised eyebrows and drawn criticism.

With Tracy now leading the scripted content at ArchWild Productions, the success of the Sussexes’ Netflix deal may depend on her ability to create appealing shows.

However, with rumors of potential fallout between Netflix and the Sussexes, the future remains uncertain.
