The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines once again, this time for their divergent professional paths.

After Spotify spectacularly dumped the couple, Megan Markle’s life has taken an unprecedented turn.

For the first time since their marriage in 2018 and their U.S. career launch in 2020, Megan is mostly forging ahead all by herself.

Their podcast deal with Spotify is no more, and it’s looking more and more like Megan has traded their Sussex double act for her own one-woman show.

Megan, only Megan, has a new agent, and supposedly offers have been pouring in for Megan, and only Megan.

Harry continues to pursue his court cases, and his Heart of Invictus Netflix documentary is set to air in the coming months.

Megan and all her advisors are plotting her next chapter.

So it looks a whole lot like, for the very first time, Megan and Harry really are on divergent professional paths.

In recent years, Megan and Harry have gone along to charity outings, grabbing onto one another while racking up all these juicy deals with corporate America.

But this year is pretty interesting because their working lives have become very separate.

Something really seems to have changed in the last six months or so with Megan and Harry, who so far this year have only undertaken one single engagement or professionally related outing together.

And in the past, we saw them out and about together all the time.

It took until April of this year for Megan and Harry to even be photographed together.

They showed up at an LA Lakers game together, like the Kardashians, just hoping to get attention for themselves.

Megan and Harry’s awkward reluctance to kiss when the kiss camera hit them didn’t exactly help matters.

But the real interest of Harry’s memoir didn’t exactly help matters, but the real interesting part came days later when it was revealed that Megan and only Megan had signed on with Hollywood mega agency WME with famed impresario Ari Emanuel to take over managing her career.

Back in 2020, when they showed up in the land of the free and home of the brave and realized that nothing was what they thought it would be, it was Harry plus Megan who went about signing contracts with these big dollar figures attached, including with Netflix and Spotify and the Wall Street investment firm, Ethic, all of them together.

But now with this development with WME, for the very first time since Megxit, here is Megan taking a professional leap all by herself.

Now, both she and Harry have at times pursued individual projects like Megan’s 2021 children’s book, The Bench, Harry’s memoir, and his role as chief impact officer.

But still, there’s a big difference between these examples and an overarching big picture strategy that only includes a single HRH.

So what about Harry?

Well, if all of these intelligent people at WME are plotting and planning Megan’s next steps, then what in the world is Harry going to do with himself?

He’s already told and sold his story, and he’s already made a Netflix show about his single significant professional achievement.

So what else can he really do at this point?

Reputation crisis expert Eric Schiffer told the Daily Mail recently that Megan is wise to distance herself from her husband’s toxic dramas.

This is a woman who constantly moves forward.

This is about building a global brand.

There will be a new woman in the show.

This is about building a global brand.

There will be some big deals announced soon.

I guess we can ignore the fact that this global brand of the monarchy is the one that Sussex has run away from.

The question that remains to be answered is, aside from his title, what else does Harry really have to offer?

And what is happening with brand Sussex?

At least if Megan ends up running the show and making her own projects, she can give Harry a job.

After all, somebody’s got to go get the coffee.

It seems that Megan Markle is distancing herself from her husband’s toxic dramas and is forging ahead with her own career.

While Harry has already told and sold his story, it remains to be seen what he will do next.

The dynamics of brand Sussex have shifted, and for the first time, Megan is taking a professional leap all by herself.

Despite all this, there is no doubt that the world is watching, waiting to see what they will do next.
