Rosie O’Donnell’s Teen Daughter Spent Week With Man She Met on Tinder

Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, who disappeared for a week in New York City before being found by the police, reportedly spent the days she was missing with a man she met on a dating app, Tinder.

According to New Jersey police, Chelsea took a bus to the Jersey Shore to stay with 25-year-old Steven Sheerer.

No drugs were found in Mr Sheerer’s house, nor evidence of an intimate relationship.

Police also revealed that Chelsea said she wanted to stay with Mr Sheerer, but they took her back home.

For the time being, Steven Sheerer faces no charges.

A representative from Tinder stated that “we have security measures in place to help verify each user’s authenticity.”

Users aged 13-17 can only connect with other users in the same age range on Tinder.

If a user lies about their age to interact with users outside of their appropriate age group, their profile is deleted immediately.

Chelsea, who lives with mental illness, left her home in Rockland County, New York, on August 11.

Cindi Berger, a spokeswoman for Rosie O’Donnell, revealed that Chelsea was last seen by her family on August 11.

The 17-year-old left home with her six-month-old therapy dog, a black terrier named Bear.

Chelsea is believed to have stopped taking medication for an undisclosed mental illness and “is in need of medical attention,” the statement added.

However, on August 18, Rosie announced the disappearance on Twitter and urged people to come forward with any information.

Soon after, Chelsea was found by New Jersey police and was safe in police custody.

Rosie tweeted, “Chelsea has been found and is safe in police custody – thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren.”

This incident has raised concerns about child safety and online predators.

It also highlights the importance of parents monitoring their children’s social media and dating app activity.

Parents should be aware of whom their children are talking to and what they are sharing with them.

The incident has also brought attention to mental health issues, especially among teenagers.

It is important for parents to recognize the signs of mental illness and seek professional help if necessary.

Proper medication and therapy can help individuals manage their mental health problems and prevent incidents like Chelsea’s disappearance from happening.
