Angelina Jolie’s second marriage to Billy Bob Thornton ended due to her desire to have a family, according to an exclusive interview with Thornton’s ex-wife Melissa deBin-Parish, as reported by Star magazine.

DeBin-Parish was married to the actor for two years in the late 70s and early 80s.

She claimed that Thornton did not want to be around children, and that Jolie’s decision to adopt Maddox marked the end of their relationship.

DeBin-Parish revealed that Thornton had a difficult time with Jolie’s desire to start a family, stating that “I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he did not want to be around children back then.”

She pointed out that after Jolie adopted Maddox from Cambodia, Thornton left the marriage.
