Bradley Cooper Says Filming Full Frontal n^de Scene in ‘Nightmare Alley’ “Was Pretty Heavy”

Bradley Cooper, the Oscar-nominated actor, had to undergo a lot of challenges while filming Guillermo del Toro’s neo-noir Nightmare Alley.

In the movie, Cooper plays Stanton Carlisle, an ambitious and charismatic loner who uses his experience from working in a traveling carnival to become a mentalist in Manhattan.

However, he gets caught in a complex web involving a love interest, a psychiatrist, and one of her wealthy patients.

Cooper was determined to give his best to the role.

“It really is akin to putting on a miner’s kit, hat, and flashlight, and looking at each other and then going down in the tunnel, knowing that you may be excavating a route that won’t ever get you to the end that day but you come back up and go down again the next day,” Cooper stated during a recent episode of The Business with Kim Masters.

He also mentioned that because of the content of the film, it was necessary to expose their emotional and soulful sides in order to do justice to the movie’s theme.

The film also demanded that Cooper bare his body completely in front of the camera.

In a particular scene, he appears full-frontal and partially exposes his backside while taking a bath and having s** with Toni Collette’s character.

Cooper did not make this decision lightly and called it “a big deal” since he had never done it before.

He remembered the experience of being n^ked in front of the crew for six hours.

It was also Toni Collette’s first day, which made the situation even more challenging.

Cooper said, “Whoa.

It was pretty heavy.”

However, Cooper did not push back on the scene since it was essential for the story.

He emphasized that there was nothing gratuitous about it; it was all in service to the narrative.

This awards season has seen several stories calling for full frontal n^de scenes, including Benedict Cumberbatch in Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog and Simon Rex in Sean Baker’s Red Rocket.

But there is much more to Cooper’s interview with Masters in The Business than just nudity.

In part one of a two-part conversation, Cooper also talked about his role as Jon Peters in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza, which earned him a SAG Award nomination for best supporting actor.

He also discussed his connection to Peters, who produced a remake of A Star Is Born that starred Barbra Streisand in 1976.

The original movie was released in 1937, and another remake hit theaters in 1954.

Nightmare Alley features other scenes with Cooper fully clothed, including moments with Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, who play love interests in the film.

The movie’s script demanded a lot from Cooper, and he gave it his all.

Despite the challenges, he felt satisfied with the result and believed that the n^de scene was an essential part of the story.

Cooper’s performance is eagerly awaited by fans, and the movie promises to be a great addition to his impressive resume.
