King Charles Open to Welcoming Back Harry and Meghan to the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now.
The couple’s decision to step down as senior members of the royal family caused a rift between them and the rest of the family.
However, a royal expert believes that King Charles would be willing to welcome them back into the fold.
Richard Palmer, a royal expert, spoke on the Daily Express Royal Roundup about whether or not the couple would be welcomed back if they decided to return to the UK.
He stated, “I’m sure the King would welcome them back.

He’s very anxious to heal the family rift but it’s obviously very raw and very noticeable.”
While King Charles is keen to heal the rift, he did not meet his son the last time he visited the UK.
Palmer added that an interesting question would be whether Harry and Meghan would appear at Royal Ascot.
He said, “An interesting question is what if, if he and Meghan were there, would they be invited to Royal Ascot?”
Meghan’s popularity has taken a hit in recent times, with a new YouGov poll showing that her popularity is at an all-time low.
Those who had a negative opinion of Meghan made up 68% of respondents while only 21% had a positive opinion of the Duchess.
New data suggests that her popularity has fallen by three points since April, adding to the overall negative outlook.
Prince Harry also disapproves of British public opinion, with 63% having a totally negative view of the Prince and only 28% having a positive view of him.
In contrast, King Charles is more popular than his youngest son, with six out of ten people having a positive view of the King.
His net favourite is currently 32, which is an improvement from April when he was only 26.
The results of the poll come just days after Harry and Meghan were dropped by Spotify, which announced it would not renew its three-year contract with production company Archewell Audio.
The deal with Spotify was reportedly worth $20 million.
Under the terms of the deal signed in 2020, Harry and Meghan were to produce and host programs that uplift and entertain audiences around the world.
The first of these projects was Archetypes, a 12-part podcast series hosted by Meghan.
The show included a list of interviewees with stars such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Constance Wu, Paris Hilton, and Mindy Kaling.
In conclusion, King Charles is open to welcoming back Harry and Meghan to the UK, despite the family rift caused by their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family.
