Kelly Ripa’s Hilarious Family Vacation Gone Wrong
Kelly Ripa, the co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark, recently shared a funny story from a family vacation to New Orleans on Friday’s episode of the show.
The TV personality, who is 52 years old, recounted how she woke up to the sound of her 3-year-old son Joaquin peeing in the closet.
Ripa was sleeping with her son when she heard a strange noise.
She saw her son’s little head moving around the corner of the bed and wondered what he was doing.
She called out to him, but he didn’t respond since he was sound asleep.

Ripa then realized that her son was confused about where the bathroom was.
Initially, Ripa thought her son was playing with marbles since she heard what sounded like marbles dropping.
But when she got out of bed and came around, she discovered that her son was just standing there, sound asleep, urinating.
The incident left Ripa with a wardrobe problem for the rest of her trip.
She had to wear different shirts from the hotel gift store since her clothes were soaked with urine.
Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos, who is 51 years old, have three kids – sons Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 20, plus daughter Lola, 21.
In March, Consuelos shared that he’s done having kids of his own, but he’s looking forward to becoming a grandparent one day.
In an episode of Ripa’s podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Consuelos talked about whether he would ever remarry after Ripa.
He explained that he wouldn’t remarry, citing one of the reasons as not wanting more kids.
Consuelos said, “‘I don’t want more kids.
I’ll be an older dad,’ he said.
“‘Do you know how many dads I know older than you that were just starting to have kids?’
added Ripa.
“‘Yeah.
And those poor bastards have no idea, because what happens next?
You’re talking about hip replacements, knee replacements, and they’re gonna be that dad, not there’s anything wrong with that dad,’ he said.
“‘But I did it early.
I didn’t plan it that way.
It just happened.
And we got really lucky that’s what we did when we did it.”
