Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg Agree to Cage Match in Vegas

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, two of the biggest tech titans in the world, may soon be facing off in a cage match.

The idea was sparked by a Twitter user who posted about Meta’s upcoming product that is rumored to compete with Twitter.

Musk, who owns Twitter, responded to the tweet by saying, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options.

At least it will be sane.

Was worried there for a moment.”

Another Twitter user warned Musk to be careful as they had heard that Zuckerberg had taken up jiu-jitsu.

Musk quickly replied, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”

Just a few hours later, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of the Twitter exchange on his Instagram story with the words, “send me location” written in big letters.

Musk tweeted late Wednesday evening, “Vegas octagon,” referring to the most popular location for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matches.

It’s unclear how serious the two billionaires are about the cage fight, but as a Meta spokesperson says in a statement to PEOPLE, “the story speaks for itself.”

Musk, who admits to never working out except for picking up his kids and throwing them in the air, joked about his current workout routine.

In response to a Twitter user sharing a news story about the alleged match, Musk tweeted, “this would be hilarious.

I have this great move that I call the walrus, where I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.”

Zuckerberg, on the other hand, recently meddled in his first-ever jiu-jitsu tournament and took up mixed martial arts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He revealed in an August 2022 interview with podcast host Joe Rogan that the sport helped give him an energy boost.

“MMA is the perfect thing,” Zuckerberg said on the podcast.

“After an hour or two of working out, or rolling or wrestling with friends, or training with different folks, it’s like now I’m ready to go solve whatever problem at work for the day.

Competed in my first Jiu Jitsu tournament and won some medals gold medal silver medal for the guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team.”

The possibility of a cage match between Musk and Zuckerberg has created a buzz on social media.

While some are excited about the prospect of seeing two billionaires fight it out, others are skeptical and believe it is just a publicity stunt.

Regardless of the outcome, it is clear that these two tech titans have sparked a lot of interest and attention.
