Jennifer Lawrence Shows Her Baby Bump during NYC Outing

On September 8th, Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, announced that they are expecting their first child. They’ve been spotted out and about in no time, and J-Law is looking as fashionable as ever.

In a white T-shirt, flowery overalls, and jelly shoes, the 31-year-old actress flaunted a small baby bulge while out and about in midtown Manhattan on Thursday. She completed her ensemble with a tan handbag and sunglasses.

The Hunger Games star and Maroney began dating in 2018, and they got engaged in February of 2019. The couple tied the knot in 2019 during a ceremony held in Newport, Rhode Island at Belcourt Castle.

Adele, Cameron Diaz, Emma Stone, Kris Jenner, Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, and Sienna Miller were among the celebrities that attended their wedding.

Lawrence seldom discusses her marriage in public, but she did so during an interview on former E! News presenter Catt Sadler’s NAKED with Catt Sadler podcast, when she revealed that she met Maroney in New York City while taking a break from acting in 2018.

When asked about her relationship, “I don’t know, I started with the basics: ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?'”. Lawrence responded in true J-Law fashion “It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met.”

“So I feel very honored to become a Maroney,” she said.

Lawrence told presenter Heather McMahan on Dear Media’s Absolutely Not podcast that one of the activities they tried during the coronavirus epidemic did not go well.

“Cooke and I tried to play tennis the other day but—I have a temper problem,” she explained. “We made it 15 minutes. I missed the ball and I turned around and chucked the racket as hard as I could after screaming so many profanities in front of so many children.”

Lawrence and Maroney, who got engaged in February 2019 after less than a year of dating, were certainly intending to have children together, a source told ET in June 2019.

“They both want children and have been discussing starting a family,” the source said at the time. “Their families truly believe they are meant to be. His family loves her family and vice versa, so their parents are excited. Their parents get along so well and are all looking forward to big family get-togethers.”
