Demi Rose rose to fame after being romantically linked to Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend Tyga. But now it looks like Demi is trying to leave that claim to fame behind her. However, she has managed to leverage that notoriety to launch herself as a model.

Why Demi Rose decided to join OnlyFans
Demi Rose, an Instagram model, has spoken out about why she joined OnlyFans.
In a recent interview with Radio 1 Newsbeat, the British model discussed her decision to join the fast-growing site. Despite having done sponsored posts for several major online fashion shops, the model claimed the main issue with sharing images on Instagram was monetizing them.
Her bikini photographs are posted on a regular basis on social media, and they frequently receive hundreds of comments from those who are curious as to how she became popular so quickly.
“I always wanted to get into modelling and when I eventually got there I classed it as a blessing because I grew up being bullied and didn’t have many friends at all.”
She added: “I’ve been posting online for years and most of my shots are free, some are paid collaborations but I haven’t been able to monetise it properly.”
Rose stated that she did not make the decision to join OnlyFans in the spur of the moment. It was only after she had been contacted numerous times with several proposals that it happened. Despite having a diverse range of content providers, from fitness trainers to beauty bloggers, OnlyFans has become known for adult content and porn. According to the regulator Ofcom’s 2020 media assessment, the exclusivity of the material, which can only be viewed by paying a subscription price, made it one of the fastest-growing websites during the epidemic. So much so that in May of last year, the site saw a 75 percent surge in new creators.
Her online content is mostly fashion-related, featuring images from magazine shoots and collaborations with brands.
OnlyFans has a reputation for having explicit and adult material. When questioned whether there is still a shortage for people interested in joining the site, Demi, who isn’t afraid to publish explicit photos on her Instagram feed, replied yes.
Despite its worldwide notoriety and appeal, the platform was considered a taboo in the United Kingdom. “There’s always been a stigma in the UK,” Rose said. “I was always cautious about joining, but I’ve been watching more creators and artists joining and I was like, ‘OK wow it’s becoming more accepted.'”
“I’m finally taking more creative control and being artistic, I’m finding my shoots fun and they [the subscribers] are happy with what I’m putting on there,” she adds.
“It makes me feel empowered”
Demi Rose’s parents died barely seven months apart in 2019.
“I use [my platform] to uplift people because after what I’ve been through, I want people to have a more positive outlook on death and not see it as a bad thing,” she says.
Rose’s content on the site will be more along the lines of what Cardi B, Jordyn Woods, and Tyga have done on the platform, which is primarily behind-the-scenes photographs from photoshoots or backstage footage.
