Billie Eilish says watching porn at age 11 “really destroyed my brain”
Billie Eilish, a Grammy-winning musician, has spoken about her addiction to watching pornography when she was 11 years old, and how it brought her nightmares and ruined up her dating life.
“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace,” the Happier Than Ever singer, 19, told Howard Stern on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Monday.
“I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11,” she said. “I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.”
“The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good,” Eilish said of how watching porn influenced her first sexual encounters negatively. “It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to.”
“I’m so angry that porn is so loved, and I’m so angry at myself for thinking that it was OK,” Billie added. “The way that vaginas look in porn is f**king crazy. No vaginas look like that. Women’s bodies don’t look like that. We don’t come like that.”

“I didn’t understand why that was a bad thing – I thought it was how you learned how to have sex. I was an advocate and I thought I was one of the guys and would talk about it and think I was really cool for not having a problem with it and not seeing why it was bad,” BBC quoted her as saying.
At the age of 18, Eilish became the youngest person in history to win all four of the major Grammy Awards in the same year when she took home the statuettes for new artist, album, record, and song of the year in 2020. She began her career wearing baggy clothes to avoid people commenting on her figure.
On Stern’s show, the “Bad Guy” singer, who hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, also discussed relationships and the challenges she’s experienced. “I’m not a serial dater,” she stated emphatically. “I don’t go to stuff and flirt with people.”
“It’s really hard to meet people when people are either terrified of you or think that you’re out of their league,” she explained. “Last year, I thought that I’d be single for the rest of my life. I genuinely couldn’t even picture myself in a relationship of any sort. I got over that pretty fast.”
Billie Eilish also disclosed that she was diagnosed with Covid-19 in August during her interview. Billie stated that she was only able to escape the fatal infection because she got vaccinated. “I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine I’m fine. I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have died, because it was bad.”
“When I say it was bad, I more just mean that it felt horrible. But really, in the scheme of COVID, it was not bad. You know what I mean? When you’re sick, you feel fucking horrible,” the Bad Guy singer said.
When it comes to her profession, Eilish recently had a fantastic time hosting Saturday Night Live, despite being quite “nervous and anxious” before the show.
“Preparing for SNL was f**king nuts, dude. It was literally alien,” she said. “I cried every single day of the week. No joke at all. I did actually love to act when I was a kid, but that’s not my world, so I don’t know what the f**k I’m doing. I feel like I’m terrible. I feel like I suck.”
