50 Cent Slams People for Mocking him over His Weight Loss
50 Cent continues to face backlash for his role in “All Things Fall Apart.” The actor shed a lot of weight for the under-the-radar film, which drove many to mock him with memes.
Evil pranksters have continued to mock the rapper ten years after the picture was released.
On Sunday, August 29, the “In Da Club” rapper posted a photo of himself being clowned and hit back at the haters who mocked him. It stated, “Remember when 50 Cent lost 55 pounds for a movie that nobody watched.”
“See how people make fun of discipline, 😆but can’t even lose weight to look good,” 50 wrote in response. “Then if you call them fat your shaming them 🤔get the fuck out of here! ”

His post drew some reactions from fans and fellow celebrities. Kash Doll said, “that’s a f**kin fact,” Someone added, “Hahahaah say it again for them in the back!” “What u mean? That’s a good movie tf.” another fan defended Fiddy.
“It was actually a good movie,” someone else agreed, “but I can’t lie you deserve a reward for that I don’t think no other actors going to actually do that you took that role to a heart.” “That movie was good though!” commented another fan.
For the 2011 Mario Van Peebles-directed film, 50 Cent shed 54 pounds to play a football player stricken with cancer.
“All Things Fall Apart” was directed by Mario Van Peebles. Ray Liotta, Mario Van Peebles, and Lynn Whitfield all appeared in the film. It was initially titled “Things Fall Apart” but the title was changed due to a conflict with Chinua Achebe’s 1958 novel of the same name. Fiddy attempted to buy out Chinua, but in order to avoid legal complications, he opted to add “All” to the title.
Apparently, the public was too captivated with how one of the most renowned rappers of our time went from a pumped-up gorgeous man to almost being a victim of Auschwitz (a concentration camp for Jews during WWII): 50 Cent dropped 24.5 kg living weight.
When he spoke with Parade Magazine about dropping from 214 pounds to 160 in nine weeks, he revealed that the weight reduction was designed to honor the tragedy and suffering of a childhood friend.
“I had so much muscle on me that it was hard for me to lose definition even as I got lighter and slimmer. I started running to suppress my appetite. Towards the end it was really difficult,” he said, per Huffington Post. “It was like, if I don’t get close enough to what my best friend looked like to me at that point before he passed, then I’m not doing the story any justice.”
50 Cent lost 214 pounds in nine weeks by liquid dieting and exercising three hours a day on a treadmill. He described it as “a lot tougher” than plummeting to 157 pounds after being shot in 2000 and unable to eat anything except water.
“I had to discipline myself not to actually have myself be in the physical state to convey the energy I felt,” he explained. “It’s a passion project for me.”
Not only does 50 Cent have to deal with naysayers, but so does Daniella Pineda, who portrays Faye in Cowboy Bebop, a new Netflix anime series. Fans of the cartoon series were dissatisfied with her apparently “normal” look, and the actress took it in stride, humorously apologizing for her small breasts.
