Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced former governor of New York, allegedly texted Allison Gollust, the lover of CNN head Jeff Zucker, offering to be her ‘pool boy.’

After working as Cuomo’s communications director for four months starting in late 2012, Gollust joined CNN.

After his divorce from Sandra Lee, Cuomo, 64, and Gollust allegedly hooked up for cocktails multiple times between 2019 and 2020.

According to Rolling Stone, following the split in early 2020, he reportedly texted Gollust, saying, ‘You don’t want to see me now that I’m single?’

“A drink with you would be the best date I’ve had in a while,” Gollust is supposed to have responded.

The ‘sex-pest’ governor allegedly volunteered to be her ‘pool boy’ four months later.

According to Rolling Stone, Gollust reportedly replied enthusiastically to the notion.

“That was fun. Sleep well,” Gollust texted Cuomo in another chat.

Cuomo’s and Gollust’s spokespeople informed Rolling Stone that they were friends but never had a sexual connection, with Gollust’s spokeswoman calling the idea “disgusting, sexist, and patently false.”

‘Allison and the governor were former colleagues and friends, never had a romantic relationship, and it is impossible to have two sources saying otherwise because it is a total fabrication,’ a Cuomo official told Rolling Stone.

‘It’s no secret that Allison and Governor Cuomo had a friendly relationship after Allison briefly worked for him in 2012,’ said Risa Hella, a representative for Gollust and Zucker, but any ‘suggestion’ of a ‘sexual relationship’ between the two was ‘disgusting, sexist, and patently false,’ according to the Rolling Stone. During the year 2020, Allison was never in the same room with the governor.’

Zucker resigned from CNN in February, citing an unreported affair with Gollust as the reason for his departure. However, the romance was evidently an open knowledge inside the network, and there were other reasons why Zucker and Gollust could no longer work together.

During an inquiry into the termination of Cuomo’s brother, Chris, the cable channel’s longstanding primetime presenter, executives at CNN parent WarnerMedia heard about the romance.

Cuomo allegedly texted Gollust after Trump suggested shutting down New York City for two weeks in 2020 due to the pandemic, asking her to critique his press conference and inviting him onto CNN’s New Day show, where Cuomo went against Trump and said a quarantine would crush the city’s economy ‘for years.’

She allegedly messaged him thereafter, saying, ‘I’m pretty sure I stopped being your publicist 8 years ago, but apparently I still am.’

“‘Ask Jeff to call me plz.’ Zucker’s representatives say he has ‘no record’ of speaking to Cuomo that day. Regardless, Cuomo landed on a talking point sure to grab Trump’s attention.

“About 30 minutes before Cuomo appeared on CNN by remote feed, Gollust emailed a programing staffer, cc’ing Zucker, and offered the governor as a last-minute guest to talk about Trump’s proposed quarantine. She then told Zucker that the governor would like to speak with him. When the segment ended, Gollust texted Cuomo: ‘Well done?.?.?.? Cuomo-W. Trump-L.’
